Hi! My name is Leah! I am a UCLA graduate with a BA in Psychology and prospective social worker. As an aunt to 8 nieces and nephews, l am passionate about working with kids and nurturing their minds and spirits! I am comfortable with working with all ages, newborns to elementary school specifically. I'm mobile, skilled with cooking, and have history as a tutor (K-5), Special education aide, and day care assistant. I'm comfortable with pets and working late hours!

I have been a high school English teacher for seven years, serving public and private school communities. I received my education in English Literature from Biola University, with specialized study at Oxford University, and attended Humboldt State University for my teaching credentialing program. While most of my teaching experience is with high school students, I have also been a care taker for younger children as well. Really, I just think all kids are pretty goofy and great! And as a teacher, getting to see their personalities come out and alive has been the best part of my job. I look forward to serving your family!

hi - i am currently a student at santa monica college and i am offering child care as well as pet care services. I have always enjoyed babysitting and watching children. I love how their creative minds work and think. I find children to be an important part of society. Through every mess and mistake , i will be patient and gentle with them. Children respond well with kindness and being well understood. I would watch two children from time to time and they were four and seven. They enjoyed how i had interacted with them as i was constantly playing with them whether it was barbie or if we were mermaids in the ocean. Hi! My name is Emma, I have earned my Associate degree in Early Childhood Education at Pasadena City College in June 2025. I am currently studying Early Childhood Studies at Cal Poly Pomona, and I am also halfway through my AMI Montessori training program. These experiences are helping me deepen my understanding of child development and early education. I’m offering child care services and have experience working with children from 6 months to 10 years old. I’ve been babysitting since I was 17, and I truly love caring for young children, supporting their development, and creating fun, engaging experiences for them. As the oldest of four sisters, I’ve always been around little ones and naturally took on a caregiving role from a young age. It definitely sparked my love for working with children and helped shape who I am today—patient, nurturing, and always ready to help. I am CPR and First Aid certified (as of January 2025), and I’ve also observed Montessori classrooms, so I’m familiar with child-led learning and respectful caregiving approaches.
