I work full-time as an HR Generalist in Los Angeles during the week and provide babysitting support for families seeking consistent, reliable care from someone they can truly trust. As the second oldest of seven siblings, caring for children has always been second nature to me. While I have experience with children ranging from 6 weeks through 15 years old, I especially enjoy working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (approximately 1–5 years old). I’m patient, attentive, and nurturing, and I focus on creating a calm, structured, and engaging environment through age-appropriate play, outdoor time, routines, and gentle guidance. Families often describe me as dependable, communicative, and easy to work with. I’m comfortable managing bedtime routines, light meal prep, transitions, and following household preferences to ensure continuity of care. Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering in the community, traveling, hiking, Olympic weightlifting (which emphasizes focus, discipline, and safety), running, and unwinding with a good book. I typically respond to booking requests within a couple of hours during the workweek. *I am fully vaccinated and boosted.* - I do not mind working at late hours into the night and for you to extend your hours if needed. - I have been with UrbanSitter for 9 years and have babysat for children ranging from infant to 10 years old. I used to also volunteer at a child care, consecutively for 4 years, over the summer where I looked after 5-7 children at a time and helped with play and reading time, arts & crafts, snack and lunchtime, and naptime; these children's ages ranged from 6 months to 4 years. - I enjoy caring for children and engaging with them through reading, baking and going on outings such as the park or beach. I also do not mind having animals in the home while I am babysitting. POLICIES: -RATES: I negotiate my rates based on the expectations and requirements of the job. My rate stays the same whether or not the child(ren) is/are sleeping or awake. -MINIMUM: I have a three-hour minimum for bookings. This can be flexible for certain situations. -EARLY RETURNS: I plan and budget around the number of hours booked so I do request to be paid the full amount even if you may arrive early. -LATE RETURNS: I always try and be flexible with parents on timing, especially with date night bookings.
