Hello! My name is Carly, and I’m an 18-year-old high school senior graduating in 2026. I’m looking to gain more babysitting experience as I prepare to pursue a nanny career this summer. I’ve been around children my entire life. I come from a big family and helped care for my younger cousins from a young age. I also helped care for my best friend Ned for four years, which taught me responsibility, patience, and attentiveness early on. Growing up in after-school programs further helped me learn how to interact with children of all ages, play fairly, and understand right from wrong. Since age 16, I’ve worked in restaurants, including Shake Shack and currently as a Starbucks barista. These roles strengthened my communication skills, punctuality, honesty, and cleanliness. I interact with children daily and genuinely enjoy helping them. Kids naturally gravitate toward me, and I love supporting families. I’m hardworking, reliable, and ready to adapt to your family’s needs. While I’m not currently CPR/First Aid certified, I have hands-on experience and am happy to get certified if required. Thank you for your time and consideration!
Hello! - I’m khya! A 27 year old San Antonio native residing in Hollywood! I’ve been an LA resident for over 5 years now and came to the area through a film and music scholarship. I graduated from UT-Austin with a B.S. in Communications and media studies. Now I work as a coach for an after school program, teaching kids 12-18 tech-design skills. Music production, film, robotics, programming, and game development to name a few. I’ve been a babysitter since high school and has volunteered with children learning the arts, since college. I’m comfortable with caring for 3 kiddos max and as a daughter of a nurse, I can assist with senior care! I am also available for house sits, light household responsibilities, appointment assistance, tutoring, and crafts. Currently I am open for Part-time work only. For date nights specifically, but can work for day time care if scheduled ahead of time. I’m with my students Tuesday after 3pm and Sats. before 2:30pm. I have no problem being scheduled after these time as well if needed. Availability is open but will close off in August or Sept! In July I am available after 2pm when I am done with summer school. Keep in mind just in case you need someone full time! Please message me for any questions about my skills and availability!
I've raised 4 children, three girls and one boy. I have 4 "favorites". I home educated my older two through graduation. It was an awesome experience. I enjoy children of all ages and consider caring for them to be a blessing and high calling. I'm easy-going, smart, kind, intuitive and full of initiative. The glass is half full to me and gratitude is a daily priority. I enjoy making the most of each moment. I enjoy thrifting, estate sales, reading, exploring and being near the water. I was raised in the Midwest, happily lived in Austin for 15 years and newly arrived in Echo Park. Empty nest, new adventure! I have excellent references for childcare, elder care, personal assistant, clear recent background check, excellent driving record. * Especially interested in: one time jobs, recurring jobs with minimal hours per week, travel jobs-domestic or international of two weeks or less
Hello, I have lived in the South Bay most of my life. I have an extensive background in childcare and have a 20 yr old daughter who lives with me. I have reliable transportation and an exemplary driving record and am available most all shifts. I also have a BS in Business Administration and champion safety/boundaries and a loving, calm environment. I love all stages and ages and enjoy doing arts and crafts projects with the kids. Please contact me any time with your childcare needs.
General: Hi! My name is Ella, and I’m a high school student in the South Bay area! I’m the oldest sibling in my family and have spent years helping care for younger siblings, cousins, and family friends (especially newborns and elementary-aged kids). My family jokingly calls me "momma number two" because I naturally take on a caring and responsible role with younger children! I’m very outgoing, patient, and creative, and I genuinely love spending time with kids. I’m involved in ASB at my school, work as a peer tutor, and serve as a conflict mediator on campus, which has taught me leadership, communication, patience, and how to handle situations calmly and respectfully. I also own a small baking business and love creative activities like baking, crafts, hair braiding, games, and helping with homework. I always try to create a fun, safe, and comforting environment for children while still being responsible and dependable. Child Care: I have experience caring for children of many different ages, especially newborns, toddlers, elementary-aged children, and younger siblings/cousins. Since I’m the oldest sibling, I’ve naturally taken on a leadership and caregiving role for most of my life! I’m especially comfortable with younger kids because I enjoy being interactive and engaging with them. In middle school, I even created a little “school” setup at home for my younger siblings where I would help teach them and plan activities. I love helping children learn, feel included, and have fun in a positive environment! One thing that is especially important to me when caring for children is safety. I naturally tend to be very cautious, attentive, and aware of my surroundings, especially when younger kids are involved. Whether it’s supervising outdoor activities, staying alert around water, or making sure children are playing safely, I always prioritize creating a secure environment while still keeping things fun. I’m al Special Skills/Talents: Some of my special skills include tutoring and homework help, baking, creative activities, hair braiding, and working well with children who need patience or emotional support. Because I’m a conflict mediator at school, I’m also very good at staying calm, listening carefully, and handling disagreements fairly and respectfully. I’m naturally very nurturing and comforting, but I’m also energetic and fun. I love making kids laugh and helping them feel safe, included, and happy. I'm not afraid to make a fool out of myself!
