I started babysitting when I was 12 and have continued to throughout my life. I’m a mother of two boys, 22 and 20 and we had a dog and multiple cats along the way. I worked at gym daycares when the kids were little as well as traded babysitting with friends with kids. I myself was raised with a younger sister and many animals including a pony, dogs, cats, fish, birds, a bunny, turtles and rats. I spent my summers at our families ranch in Northern California which has horses, cows, dogs, cats, peacocks, turkeys and pheasants. All in all I’ve had the joy of enjoying and taking care of many children and animals through the years and look forward to doing the same with yours.

Hi, I'm Leah! I am originally from New Jersey, but have lived all over, and am now currently a Kindergarten teacher here in the Denver area. I hold my masters of elementary education and have loved being able to take my passion for working with children and make a career out of it. I have over 10 years of babysitting and nannying experience, working with ages ~6 months to 13 years old. Most of my experience is with 4-6 year olds, but I am comfortable with all ages! I also have been a tutor for over 5 years for kids ages 5 learning letter sounds to 21 year olds learning economics! I have been babysitting since I was ten years old! I grew up as the second oldest child with two younger siblings who I loved helping take care of. My mom has been doing in-home daycare since I was six, so I was always around kids and helping out where I could! I have nieces and a nephew, and find so much joy watching them learn and grow. I have formerly been CPR and first aide certified for adults, infants, and children - the certifications have expired, however I am happy to renew them upon request. My favorite part about being around kids is that I get to bring my inner kid out. I love being silly, playing games, singing songs, and reading stories.
