I have 9 years of experience in the classroom as a gen-ed teacher and 3 years of experience as a special education teacher for students with mild to moderate disabilities. Throughout my time teacher, in college, and high school I have worked part time for many families as a nanny, tutor, swim instructor, house manager, you name it. I am now a recent graduate with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I am working as a therapist with parents and kids. I love being around people, getting outside, and doing fun activities that get our brains and bodies working. I cook, clean, do laundry, plan activities for my own family and enjoy doing the same things for others.

Hi! I’m a 4th Grade teacher in Denver Public Schools district on summer break. I’ve taught elementary grade levels (all subjects!) for 6 years. Throughout the years, I’ve taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I am very familiar with the Literacy and Math standards progression from K-5 and the strategies/language students need to learn to reach their academic goals. In past summers, I have taught summer school, coordinated summer camps, and worked for the parks and rec department a coaching soccer and basketball. I believe that learning needs to be a great mix of hard work and fun! This summer, I decided to take the summer off and not commit to a full time position. Hi, I’m Lindsay! As the second oldest of five, I grew up helping care for my younger siblings, including my brother with Williams Syndrome. This experience taught me the importance of patience, kindness, and understanding in caregiving. I began babysitting for other families at age 14 and have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to 12 years old. I graduated from college in 2018, spent two years in Boston, and moved to Denver in August 2020.
