Hello! I recently graduated from Emory University. I currently work full time, but I would love to get back into babysitting on the weekends! I’ve been babysitting since I was 13, and I’ve looked after kids of all ages, from infants as young as 6 weeks to busy toddlers and energetic preschoolers. I’ve cared for up to three children at a time and gained valuable hands-on experience while working at a daycare while at university, where I supported children from 8 weeks to 4 years old. I’m patient, kind, and creative, and I love coming up with fun activities that help kids learn, explore, and feel safe. Hi there, I’m Celia. I’m a doctorate student at GWU studying occupational therapy and hoping to one day do pediatric OT. I’m offering child care, senior care, and pet care services at this time. I have been babysitting since I turned 13, have experience in pediatric oncology, and recently was a lead preschool teacher for children ranging from 2-5 years old (within one classroom). I have worked with non verbal children, am CPR certified through the American Heart Association, and love getting creative with kids. I would oftentimes cover the infant room during early and extended care while working at the preschool. I also have around 80 hours of observations with senior care and experience working with the elderly population. I also love dogs and cats, but am allergic to cats and therefore am only accepting dog sitting gigs at this time. I have experience dog sitting 1 dog at a time anywhere from hours to 2 weeks, but would love to gain experience working with more than 1 dog.

I am in my early thirties and have nearly twenty years of experience with childcare, from infant through pre-teen ages. I've cared for 1-4 children at a time. Though I don't have kids of my own, it has been the biggest pleasure of my life to watch my two young nieces grow up (3 yo and 1 yo), which is a main reason I'm looking to incorporate childcare into my regular schedules. In addition to playing with and looking after the kids, I have experience in preparing food and meals, helping with household chores like laundry and dishes, and assisting with homework. I have my own car and am comfortable driving kids to/from activities. I'm open to one-off childcare opportunities, but would also love the chance to make a good relationship with a family and become a regular sitter!
