$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Washington, DC

Hi, I'm Naomi! I recently graduated from Lafayette College and have moved back home for my gap year while I prepare for graduate school. I have 7 years of professional experience working with children and would love the chance to support your family. As the oldest sibling in my family, caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I first discovered my love for childcare while helping care for my two younger sisters, who are my world. Over the years, I've continued babysitting and tutoring children of different ages, from toddlers to elementary schoolers, in both home and school settings. I’m patient, responsible, outgoing, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids -- whether that’s helping with homework, doing crafts, going to the park, playing games, or simply creating a safe and fun environment for them. I also have a car and am happy to help with transportation, appointments, pick-ups/drop-offs, errands, or activities if needed. I’m also a huge animal lover! I have five dogs myself and have experience pet sitting and cat sitting for friends, so I’d be more than happy to help care for pets as well. I’d love the opportunity to meet your family and see if I’d be a good fit for your needs!

Naomi is amazing with my sons especially Zaiheim. He is autistic and she has been so patient and kind to him. She is reliable, on time and caring and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Mariel Arlington
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi - My name is Mariel. I have more than 4 years of experience taking care of little ones. I am offering child care and house services; organizing your closet or helping you clean your house. I enjoy being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, and toddlers since I was 8 years old because I used to take care of my young sister in Peru while my mother went to work. Obviously, I had the help of my older sister. I started working more seriously as a caregiver when I was 18, taking care of a newborn for two months, then I came to the USA as an au-pair, and took care of a toddler and a 4-year-old for two years. After that, I took care of a baby for a year and a half until he went to daycare. And my last job was with a baby; my contract was for 5 months, and it was a great time with them. I have great references from all my previous jobs. I am happy to work with families with dogs, but I will not take care of the dog unless I see a great need for the pup, and I will try my best to help if the dog is in need and you are not home. I will prefer a schedule from 9 AM to 4 PM, and weekends are off-limits since I have other commitments, and I prioritize time with my family.

Rafaliarison Arlington
$24 per hour for 1 child

Hi everyone – My name is Steffy and I am passionate about childcare, and household services. I love being around kids and have always been surrounded by family. As the first grandchild, I grew up taking care of all my younger cousins until they became independent, which gave me valuable experience. I also love cooking, which is my other job, and enjoy preparing meals for families. Caring for others is one of the most important values my parents taught me, and I carry that into my work. I am passionate about organizing and cleaning, which makes me well-suited to handle household tasks and run errands efficiently. I am a big animal lover, having had 3 dogs and 6 turtles, so I’m happy to work with pets as well! Babysitting and caregiving allow me to combine my love for kids, cooking, organizing, and helping others. I look forward to working with your family!

Booked by 1 family in Washington, DC

As a high school teacher, lacrosse coach, loving Aunt, and dog owner, I bring years of experience working closely with children and teens in both educational and athletic settings. I'm passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for kids of all ages. My background has helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of child development and behavior. I have my B.S. in Biobehavioral health from Penn State University. I currently teach Health and Nutrition at St John’s College High school, and I’ve also worked at several different universities including Boston University and Georgetown University. According to feedback I’ve received from supervisors, I create a safe and welcoming environment and successfully keep children engaged and interested in class. I’ve coached all levels of lacrosse including youth, high school, and college. I also have experience being a live-in caregiver for my grandmother. I’m comfortable with light household tasks and pet care. Families can count on me to be responsible, attentive, and caring.
