Katherine Silver Spring
$18 per hour for 1 child

My name is Kate and I am college student looking to obtain more babysitting jobs while home during the summer and winter breaks! I have been babysitting since 2021 and have experience with a wide variety of ages, the youngest being 5 months. I have had the pleasure of working with multiple families when their children were babies and have continued watching them as toddlers and elementary schoolers. I am a reliable babysitter who is always on time and committed to giving my full attention to the children to ensure they are safe and happy. I love keeping the children engaged through games, art activities, playing outside, imaginative play, storytelling, and reading. I am also happy to help with homework or learning based activities. Finally, I am responsible and will always follow instructions regarding activities, meal times, and bedtime routines. I can also assist with housework including cleaning up toys, preparing meals, and doing dishes. Feel free to ask any questions!

Springfield
$30 per hour for 1 child

I work as a nanny for over 9 years , my last job I was almost 4 years with the family , they are diplomats , I took care of a couple of 1 year and 2 months old twins and another 4 year old boy . I took care of the children , I organized clothes , I took the older boy to and from school , I took care of the twins full time , we did activities on the street and we went to the playground . I have a letter of recommendation. I am very punctual with schedules and tasks. I can travel with the family if they need to. I can be alone with the children if the parents want to travel alone, as my old bosses travel a lot and left me alone with the children. My last family as a nanny I worked for four years, 2021- 2025 watching twins and an older one. I just left the family end of January this year, but I still doing some work the family as they need. I just left the family because I started college class full time and I couldn’t be full-time nanny for them.

Great experience! My kids love her!

$22 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Washington, DC

Hello! My name is Mari and I am graduating from American University this May. I am 22 years old and am originally from York, PA but live full-time in D.C. I currently work for an environmental non-profit as an intern, and am looking for summer opportunities with families here in the DMV. I have an extensive history of service-oriented positions. I formally used a nannying app called QuadJobs in which I booked and have working relationships with multiple families (unfortunately the app has since shut down). I am the oldest sister in my household as well as having an older brother, so I am aware of sibling relationships and responsibility. I am diligent and committed, having worked for Starbucks for 3 years while being a full-time student with multiple other jobs and commitments. I also am an equestrian-- I have extensive history with horses and other animals, making me very capable of caring for any sort of family pet! I have my own car here, meaning I am flexible with travel as well as quick with transportation needs. After my graduation in May, I plan on staying within the District to apply to jobs in the environmental sector before attending graduate school after a year or so. Happy to meet you!

Mari was punctual, professional, conscientious, and our girls loved her. We can't wait to have her back!
