Hi Family, I’m Jasmyne a Chicago native and the proud second-oldest of six siblings — so you could say childcare has always been a big part of my life! I also have two adorable nephews I help care for regularly, which keeps my hands (and heart) full. In addition to years of hands-on family experience, I’ve also worked at a daycare, where I cared for children of different ages and helped plan fun, educational activities. On Sundays, I teach kids’ Bible studies at my church, which has deepened my patience, creativity, and love for helping children learn and grow. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and we share a strong sense of family and community. I bring that same dependable, loving energy to every family I work with. I am currently pursuing a masters in occupational therapy at DePaul University and have a passion for helping children. Despite being in grad school, I’m a child at heart, enjoy watching kid movies/cartoons, playing outside, painting, and board games. During my training I have cared for pediatric patients in both acute (emergency), inpatient, and clinic settings. I love working with kids and am currently interviewing with pediatric residency programs! I am BLS certified for infants, children, and adults.
