Hi! My name is Emily. I'm a 4th year medical student looking to connect with my community and offset some of medical school's high costs. I am offering child care, dog care, and household services. During my training I have cared for pediatric patients in both acute (emergency), inpatient, and clinic settings. I love working with kids and am currently interviewing with pediatric residency programs! I am BLS certified for infants, children, and adults. I have experience babysitting for children between 2 months and 12 years. I believe it's my duty as a caregiver to help create a safe and magical world for children to explore. When babysitting I love taking the kids to explore outside, reading books, and making up any wacky games I can think of! I am a dog owner and feel comfortable caring for most dogs. I have a background in singing and art therapy, and I try to incorporate that into my work with my students. I have two years teaching experience with middle school aged students with disabilities as well. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and intermediate in ASL. I also have experience working with seniors both in a nursing home and in home care as well. I have experience bathing and dressing seniors, meal prepping for them, and cleaning up their home.
