Hello! My name is Sienna. I’m a recent graduate from the UPenn and am an oncology nurse here in NYC. I work with the adult population in the hospital, but I’ve always loved working with kids. I was a babysitter for 2 years in high school, and I also worked in a children’s hospital throughout my time in undergrad. I’m attentive, detail oriented, patient, and especially love being playful with kids. I'm comfortable with a variety of tasks, from arts and crafts to tutoring to accompanying kids to their extracurriculars. I’m also an avid cook and baker outside of my full time job and would be more than happy to bring those skills to your family as well! On top of that, I am CPR certified and happy to provide care if your child has any medical needs. I am allergic to cats but am happy to work with families with dogs!

I have over 8 years of childcare experience across a variety of settings, including nannying, coaching, and working in children’s programming. Most recently, I worked as a Kids Club Attendant at the Four Seasons Orlando, where I design and lead engaging activities and games in a high-energy, luxury environment. I also spent three years working in retail at Walt Disney World, where I focused on creating memorable, engaging experiences for families and children. This strengthened my ability to connect quickly with kids and bring energy and positivity into every interaction. In addition, I have extensive coaching experience with both the Savannah Sharks and Upper Merion Allstars, where I led practices and taught tumbling classes. I also coached a cheer team for children with differing abilities, which was one of the most meaningful parts of my experience. It taught me how to adapt to individual needs, build confidence, and create an inclusive, supportive environment for every child.

Hi! I'm Sonia! I am recent college graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and I have a lot of experience working with kids. I started in middle school as a Counselor in Training (CIT) at Girl Scout Camp to learn how to best work with kids and help them thrive. In 2018 I started work as a camp counselor at San Diego Junior Theatre, monitoring/Overseeing up to 20 children at a time (ages 5 - 10), preventing incidents and/or managing and reporting incidents as needed, keeping campers safe and engaged throughout the day, and working well with other counselors to ensure a safe, positive experience for campers and staff. Along with working as a camp counselor, I also have done a lot of babysitting for kids ages 5 and up since highschool. Having a younger sibling, I am proficient in helping with homework and engaging in conversation with children of all ages. I also have experience providing care for children under 5, helping to run childcare at a church that watched the very young children during services. I was a part of a group that provided Anti-Bullying education through theatre to children in schools throughout High School as well, so I can help navigate friendship problems if/when they come up.
