Hi, my name is Michelle, I’m 25 years old, I work from home for a non-profit, and am based in Williamsburg! I love to spend time with children, I babysit for many of my younger cousins who are all elementary school aged! In high school I worked at an after-school program at an elementary school in Maryland where I was responsible for kindergartners and first graders! I helped them with homework, snack time, and took them out to the playground! I also love cats, and have one myself so I would be happy to help out with any cats at home. I am also happy to do any dog walking!
Hello, my name is Aurora! I have a lot of experience with infants and young children, and am eager to work with your family! For the past two years I've been nannying an infant who is now going off to daycare! In this position I gained experience in guiding an infant through all the major developmental milestones including transitioning from bottle-feeding to solids, creating a sleep schedule, first steps, first words, and all the other fun changes that come in those first couple years. I absolutely love working with this age-range and am pursuing a degree to become a perinatal psychologist so I can eventually work with parents and babies in a mental health setting. Outside of nannying, I just completed a two-year internship at Columbia University where I studied mother-baby psychology and attachment. This greatly informs my work with families and infants! I completed my B.S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara where I also worked as an assistant preschool teacher. In this role I worked in both infant classrooms and 3-to-5 year-old classrooms. I loved building rapport with the children and forming close bonds with the families! Outside of these roles, I also worked at the Brooklyn Autism Center with older children and have experience babysitting 4 to 5 year-olds. I'm happy to talk in-depth about any of these experiences! Outside of work and school, I love spending time outdoors and being creative! As your nanny, I would love to take your kiddos to the park and set up art activities with them! Thank you for your time and I'm excited to meet your family!
Hello! I am an experienced caregiver with years of experience working with children ages 0-12. I'd love to explore the city and do crafts with your kiddos, as well as help out with reading and homework! I have experience caring for many children, including those with special needs and those who have experienced ACEs. I'd love to contribute to your children's enrichment with fun, sensitivity, and curiosity!
Hello! I am currently a 25 year old young professional working in the Music industry. I have extensive experience dog sitting/dog walking, and I am more than willing to look after seniors or kids as well. While I have no direct babysitting experience for children, I have worked as a tutor in the past for children ages 5-14, and possess the responsibilities to look after them as needed.
Hi! My name is Leah, and I'm a 24-year-old Brooklyn-based caregiver currently preparing to start law school. I'm seeking part-time childcare work over the summer and would love to support a family during this time. I bring over six years of childcare experience, including working as an overnight camp counselor, supporting children with special needs, and providing tutoring across various subjects. These roles have helped me develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to each child's unique personality and needs. My schedule is very flexible throughout the summer, and I'm happy to work with families to find a routine that fits best. I truly enjoy building meaningful connections with the children I care for and creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. I look forward to chatting with you and seeing if I would be a great fit for your family's needs!
