Hi! My name is Maeve and I am a 24 year old living in Manhattan. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and have watched ages ranging from 6 weeks to teenagers! I also have years of experience as a camp counselor and in educational settings. I’m very hands on and love to play games and sports, do crafts, and help with homework. I prioritize creating a fun and safe environment, and parents can count on me to be dependable, communicative, and genuinely invested in their child’s well being. I can offer additional services such as cooking/meal prep, household cleaning, and running errands. I am also available for pet sitting, I have experience in watching both cats and dogs!
Hi! I’m Taylor, I’m 21 years old, going into my 4th year at Parsons School of Design, living in the East Village. Growing up in California I babysat for several families with children of different age ranges. I developed a love for children and being able to help families! I’m always happy to be an extra set of hands around the house and help families wherever needed. Addition to babysitting, my first job was a gymnastics coach for kids of all ages. In my free time I enjoy reading, working out, and going on long walks to enjoy the city!
Hello! I’m Isabella and I am new to the city! I was born and raised in Venice Beach, CA. I moved to New York to be closer to my family who live on the east coast and to live with my best friend who will be attending graduate school at Columbia! I studied Psychology at UC Santa Cruz where I focused on childhood and adolescent development. Throughout college I was a nanny and worked at a local preschool where I was able to conduct my senior research project on emotional regulation in preschool aged children. I formed strong and lasting relationships with the families I worked with and stay in contact to this day. Many families I worked with prioritized Montessori schooling methods, so I am familiar with that style of learning. My first year out of college, I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a school for special needs children. I worked with children ages 7-14 who had varying IEP’s for things like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, among others. I was trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) methods to de-escalate high-stress situations. I am a highly patient, playful, and responsible person, and I take pride in working with families and children. In the next couple of years, I would like to go back to school for a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, as I am interested in relationship dynamics and communication strategies. In my free time, I love to be active and outside! I’ve played volleyball my whole life, so I am eager to find a rec league in the city so I can play. I also love to travel and am lucky that my family prioritized this growing up, so I’ve been lucky to travel with them! My experience as a nanny has varied depending on each family’s needs, but I am familiar with school pickup/drop-off, snack and meal planning, homework help, bed/bath time, and planning daily activities. I have experience and am comfortable with overnights after getting to know the family and their children, as well as traveling as needed. I look forward to connecting and seeing if we would be a good fit:)
Hello! My name is Mary, and I am a preschool special education teacher currently working in Queens, NY. I am offering childcare services along with light housekeeping, including cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and preparing simple snacks. I have a strong passion for teaching children and have been in the field of early childhood education for sixteen years. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, teenagers, and young adults, with the majority of my experience focused on children ages 2–5. My responsibilities as a teacher include lesson planning, creating hands-on crafts, and reading age-appropriate storybooks. I am comfortable working in homes with small dogs; however, I am not accustomed to working with other pets, such as cats, hamsters, or large dogs
I am a highly dependable and compassionate caregiver with a strong background in supporting individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, and even pets. My professional experience includes roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Sitter, and Direct Support Professional, where I developed skills in providing attentive care, ensuring safety, and creating nurturing environments. Personally, I have years of experience caring for children, assisting elderly family members, and looking after pets, which has deepened my love for caregiving in all its forms. I hold certifications in Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) and Preventing and Managing Crisis Solutions (PMCS). I am also pursuing advanced education, including a BBA in Business Marketing and a Post-Baccalaureate in Pre-Med, which reflect my dedication to growth and learning. I genuinely love working with children, fostering their creativity, and supporting their development in safe, engaging environments. My time spent with seniors has taught me patience and empathy, while my experience with pets has made me attentive and caring to all living beings. Caregiving isn’t just a job for me—it’s my passion, and I take pride in creating positive experiences for those I care for.
