Maddie New York
$25 per hour for 1 child

A little bit about me— my name is Maddie and I am 24 years old living on the Upper East Side. I am a full-time data analyst for the National Hockey League. I’ve played sports my entire life and continued to play club lacrosse through college. When I’m not working or being active, I absolutely love cooking! I have over 10 years of experience with children of all ages and needs. I have cared for infants, middle schoolers, and volunteered at special needs camps and after school programs. Some of my responsibilities have included: cooking, running errands, house chores, homework, zoo trips, science experiences, and (my personal favorite) pillow forts. Also, I am very pet-friendly (my family just got a puppy named Robin). I’m looking forward to getting to know your family!

Brooklyn
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in New York, NY

Hi! I've been a nanny and babysitter for over 14 years, caring for children from just a few weeks old up to age 12. What started as helping out a co-worker occasionally has grown into something I've done alongside my professional life for over a decade and I genuinely love it. More recently, I spent 7 years with one Brooklyn family, caring for their son from age 5 through 12 (through end of 2025). I currently have consistent part time work with a 3.5 year old. I've also worked with babies, toddlers, and sibling combos, including kids with autism and mood-related challenges. I'm confident juggling different needs, ages, and personalities, whether that's helping a toddler through potty training or guiding a 10-year-old through homework frustration. I'm comfortable with: -Infants, toddlers, and older children (including multiples) -Special needs (including mild autism and mood disorders) -Doctor visits -Daytime outings, pickups/drop-offs (currently only available for some drop offs) -Cooking, light cleaning, bedtime, bath time, homework help -Pet-friendly homes (I love animals!) -Out of town visits, including care in hotel rooms. I've lived in NYC for 11 years so I am very comfortable navigating the city and taking transit with kids if needed. Ultimately my goal is to make your life easier and help your child feel safe, supported, and seen. My other professional background in e-commerce & retail management has primed me for being able to prioritize, the ability to patiently & positively meet needs, to clearly communicate, and being comfortable with taking responsibility. Most importantly, it has made me realize that if I have to get a headache about something work related, it might as well be from an adorable screaming child. Things to know: -I have a 3 hour job minimum unless otherwise agreed upon -If my commute is reasonably 1+ hour away I also ask for half of my transit time be compensated.

Wendy is very sweet and got along well with our toddler

Alicia New York
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Alicia! I am a first-year student studying at Fordham University at Lincoln Center. I am offering child care, animal care, and household services. As a big sister, I’ve spent my whole life caring for my younger siblings, which sparked my passion for babysitting. I have hands-on experience watching over toddlers and ensuring their safety while juggling school drop-offs and pick-ups for their older school-age siblings. Over the years, I’ve cared for numerous young children, creating a fun, nurturing, and safe environment that parents can trust. As a result of working in multiple customer service jobs along with my engrained family position of being a middle child, I’ve developed an outgoing yet adaptable personality that allows me to connect with children of all ages and personalities. I genuinely enjoy being around different people and pride myself on my patience, creativity, and ability to handle any situation with a smile. Whether it's playtime, homework help, or bedtime routines, I’m dedicated to providing reliable and loving care for every child I watch. I also adore animals and would be happy to help with your furry loved ones, whether it be feeding, walking, or just playing. I have two of my own and know just how important they are to a family !! I can also help as a household assistant, providing tasks such as cleaning or running errands.

High school teacher who previously worked as a life guard and swim teacher to children ages 3-15. I really enjoy connecting with children of all ages, whether it's hearing about the book they love, the new slang they're using or playing a board game with inventive rules.

Creative, reliable, patient, and understanding. I have 15+ years experience working with children of all ages. As the oldest of 15 cousins, I began babysitting early and have always loved working with kids. I spent six summers as both a counselor and Arts + Crafts Department Head at an overnight camp in New Hampshire for kids ages 8-18, and earned degrees in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Vermont. I will always treat your little ones with respect and am comfortable navigating big emotions or challenging behaviors with a cool head and a positive outlook. I love finding fun and creative ways to make mundane tasks exciting, and love learning about children's interests and personalities to help them grow into their truest selves. I can support caregiving, learning, extracurriculars, household chores... I'm happy to jump in and help make your day-to-day a little easier! I have some experience with pets (mostly cats + dogs) and while I have less experience with senior care, I am confident that I have the right demeanor and skillset to provide those services if needed. A bit more about me: I enjoy cooking, live music, art, and exploring the city as a recent transplant from Quincy, MA. I spent the past six years working for a 3D Printing startup based in Boston where I lead Workplace Experience and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion efforts. My partner's career has recently brought us to NYC, a move I have been wanting to make for quite some time now. I visited the city frequently before our move and have a large network of friends living here, so while I am a new resident I have spent substantial time here and am comfortable with basic safety and transportation routes. If I seem like a good fit for your family's needs, please reach out to chat!
