Hello there! A little bit about me 😊 I’m currently a student studying Communication Sciences and Disorders with the goal of becoming a Speech Therapist for kiddos! I have 4 going on 5 years of experience working with children in special education, ABA therapy, early intervention, private nannying, and childcare settings. Most of my experience comes from working at a school in Tribeca for children with autism and an early intervention center. That is where I learned the most and did the most growing with ages 2-12. I love keeping childcare fun, playful, and lighthearted, while also being comfortable working with a variety of behaviors, developmental needs, and communication styles. I bring patience, structure, and an educated approach while still making sure kids can be kids! I’m currently looking for a part-time position of around 20 hours a week or less. Hi there! I’m Madeleine, and I’m attending NYU at the moment. I am a Psychology major, and find working with kids fascinating as you can really see skills and proficiencies develop. I have worked as a babysitter for children from 5-12, and as a summer camp counselor for children from 4-13. I have also worked in temporary childcare for children from 6 months to 12 years. I am a former STEM school student, where I volunteered as a tutor for Math, Science, and SAT prep. I am able to assist with homework or skill building in these areas.
