This ensures my safety during travel time when public transportation may not be the safest or most reliable option. Thank you for understanding.** **Early Arrival: I do request to be paid for the full amount of time booked even if parents should arrive home early** 2 HOUR/$50 BOOKING MINIMUM for one time bookings I am more than happy to discuss my policies with you. Hi! My name is Nisa. I am currently working as a part time nanny, but I have been a babysitter for over 15 years and I have loved every minute of it. I am a recreational ballet dancer, gymnast, and painter. I am also extremely creative and I love coming up with new and fun adventures for kids to enjoy. I hate for children to be bored, so I like to do arts and crafts projects, read to them, play card and board games, bake with them, and go to the park. I even have a recipe for homemade play dough! I have also been an after school teacher for children, grades K-5 and I am currently studying to become a Newborn Care Specialist. I have worked with infants, toddlers, and pre-teens and I love connecting with each child on their level. I am naturally drawn to children which is why I love to spend time with them and be a part of their lives. I formerly worked as a cook and baker so I don't mind cooking and baking for/with the kids as well. I am currently CPR/First Aid certified and I have excellent references. Hopefully, I will be a great fit for your family. I look forward to meeting you! ** Please message me for my rates for any HOUSEHOLD SERVICES. Feel free to reach out to me for kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry, as well as pantry, closet, and general home organization. Thank you!**
“Nisa was great. She was kind, caring, and professional. I would recommend her to anyone. She stepped right up to care for our daughter, who has a lot of profound needs. Not every caregiver is able to easily figure out how to relate to her, but Nisa had no problem with that.”
Resume Link:[removed] Hi, my name is Lindsey! I love working with children of all ages, especially infants and toddlers! I have an associate degree in early childhood education from Sauk Valley Community College and plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in the future. I have experience as a summer and after-school counselor, working with kids aged K-5th grade, and, most recently, as a full-time assistant daycare teacher in a 15-30 month classroom. I would also occasionally work in the daycare infant room when needed. One of the main reasons I love working with children is their innate love for exploration, creativity, and learning; just like myself! I believe that children need a strong, safe, and trustworthy support system to thrive, and I will provide all of those qualities. I love to sing, dance, read, write, craft, explore new places, and spend time in nature; all of which are traits that I directly apply when working with children. Furthermore, I am deeply passionate about teaching children age-appropriate emotional intelligence and regulation. While working in daycare, I taught my toddlers the names and feelings of different emotions, breathing exercises, how to find a trusted adult in times of emotional distress, how to say to a peer “Stop!” and “I do not like that!”, healthy ways to express anger, frustration, or other “upset” emotions without physically harming oneself or others, and where to find a safe and calm space to “calm their body.” For me, helping a child grow emotionally is incredibly rewarding, and I am ready and willing to nurture this growth with every child I work with. In addition to childcare, I am experienced in caring for dogs, cats, bearded dragons or similar reptiles, hedgehogs, beta fish, and parakeets (my family has had lots of pets over the years!). Additionally, having worked multiple customer service jobs and maintained the cleanliness of a toddler classroom, I am highly experienced in housekeeping services and running errands.
“Trustworthy and reliable experience for us as we had no idea where to start or who to use to watch our 4 kids in the hotel room when we’re visiting the city! Thank you!! My kids were happy and were well cared for!”
With over 15+ years of experience in child care, I bring a deep commitment to nurturing and educating children in both home and school environments. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Saint Peter's University, along with an Early Childhood Teacher Certification from the state of New Jersey. My background includes extensive experience in classroom settings, as well as roles in back-up child care and private nannying. I’m passionate about supporting each child’s development through patience, creativity, and a warm, engaging approach. Whether in a structured learning environment or a more flexible home setting, I strive to create a safe, joyful space where children can thrive. In addition to child care, I also offer dependable pet care and home cleaning services. I'm comfortable with a variety of pets and take pride in providing gentle, reliable care tailored to their needs. When it comes to home cleaning, I focus on creating organized, tidy spaces so families can enjoy a clean and stress-free environment. I’m here to help make daily life a little easier—whether that means caring for your children, pets, or home—with professionalism and heart.
Hi families! My name is Natasha, and I recently graduated from Bank Street College of Education with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I have experience working as a preschool teacher, nanny, babysitter, and in after-school programs. Over the years, I’ve cared for children of different ages and needs, including school pickup/drop-off, evening care, overnight care, and weekend babysitting. I also have experience supporting children with special needs, including autism, sensory processing differences, and deafblindness. My background in early childhood and special education helps me create a patient, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel safe and encouraged to grow. I love planning fun and meaningful activities such as imaginative play, arts and crafts, reading, sensory activities, and outdoor adventures. One of my favorite parts of working with children is watching their confidence, creativity, and curiosity grow as they learn about the world around them. In my free time, I enjoy reading, building Legos, and visiting museums. I look forward to connecting with your family!
“Natasha arrived on time and enthusiastic to care for our son. She kept him entertained with many activities and stuck to his daily schedule. She sent updates during the day to keep us reassured. Would definitely book her again!”
I am the mother of a teenaged boy, and I absolutely love being a mother. I have lots of experience with children of all ages. I currently work as a nursery school teacher on the Upper East Side. I am very compassionate, patient and energetic.
“Belynda was amazing with my little one! She sent updates which made me feel at ease. Highly recommend!”
