Hi! My name is Katrina! 😊 I’ve been the go-to babysitter for my family and friends for many years, and I’ve been caring for children ranging from about 5 months to 9 years old since I was a teenager. I’ve always loved being around kids, and honestly, working with them has always just come naturally to me. I’m patient, caring, dependable, and I really enjoy making kids feel comfortable, happy, and understood. I currently work as a Paraprofessional with the NYC Board of Education in Williamsburg, where I work closely with children in special education. I’ve worked one-on-one with children with ADHD, autism, developmental delays, speech disorders, and different sensory and behavioral needs. I’ve also worked with children from Pre-K through 2nd grade, so I’m very comfortable with different ages, personalities, routines, and learning styles. When I babysit, I don’t want kids to feel like they’re just being “watched.” I love keeping them busy with fun, age-appropriate activities while still giving them structure and following their normal routines. Depending on your child’s age and interests, we might: • 🎶 Sing songs and play movement games • 📅 Practice days of the week, months, letters, numbers, etc. • 🎨 Color, do crafts, and other hands-on activities • 🔢 Play counting and early-learning games • 💃 Dance, listen to music, and have a little fun • 📚 Read stories and have story time • 🧁 Bake or do simple kitchen activities (I’m actually a baking & pastry graduate!) I’m especially comfortable working with children who may need a little extra patience, structure, reassurance, or help communicating their needs. I always try to meet each child where they are and make sure they feel safe, respected, and comfortable with me. ✨ Availability: Pickups, summer days, occasional weekends, school/DOE days off, and other occasional babysitting needs. I’ve been working remotely in sales for a data analytics firm since 2022 and given the flexibility of my role, I’m looking for child care opportunities. I started babysitting when I was 14 years old and never took for granted the responsibility and joy I felt from working with children. Along with babysitting, petsitting, and life guarding all of high school; I also was a part time nanny (after school, M-F) for the same family my junior and senior year. Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer and I currently live in New York City. I currently work full-time, but I love babysitting on the side! I have the option to work remotely from home so I am available to take babysitting jobs right after work and on weekends! I absolutely LOVE kids and I have a lot of experience babysitting kids of ALL ages (1-10). For reference, I used to babysit for a family with 3 kids (ages 1, 4, 6). I babysat them every week for 6 months. I would also watch their dog while I was there. I would cook for them, play with them, read to them, and go though their bedtime routine. We would also do fun stuff like have read books, sing songs, draw pictures, and play games! I also used to babysit a 8 month old boy every Monday, Wednesday, Friday every week for a year. I would be with him 8 hours a day. I would take him on stroller walks, change his diapers, put him to bed for naps, cook/feed him, etc. I would also watch and take care of their puppy on the job. Now that I have a full time job, I still love babysitting when I can! I am also very good with dogs and animals!
