I am a relaxed stabilizing presence for my campers, and am good at turning any situation into a positive experience. Positive forms of learning and personal connection matter a lot to me. Additionally I have experience with Nero divergent (OCD and On the spectrum) children. I am watchful and entertaining for the young ones! I am mostly used to managing larger groups of campers, but my best moments have always been with smaller groups or individual campers, listening to feelings and resolving problems! I've done care for younger children ages less than 1 - 3 for relatives outside of my camp experience. Hello! My name is Garmony. I am a 21 year old nursing student and I am offering child care, and household services. I am new to baby sitting for others but growing up my mother was working a lot so I took on the responsibility of taking care of my 2 younger sisters that are 5-7 years younger than me. I also would always babysit for my aunts and uncles and my cousins were infants, toddlers and 4+ years old. Howdy! My name is Tim and I'm thrilled at the opportunity to work with you and your child(ren). I was born in Central Oregon and have lived in Portland for about 12 years (with a few stints in North Carolina. I graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 2012 with a degree in Rhetoric & Media Studies and a minor in Art/Art History. I have worked with children in many capacities throughout the years. Starting when I was 15 as a sitter to two toddlers, I have worn many hats since then. From swim instructor to recess coach, to 2nd grade teacher to Montessori PE teacher, I love finding joy and celebrating it! Currently I work as Assistant Dean of Admission at Reed College, but I will be leaving my job soon to begin school at PSU for a Masters in Sustainability Education. In my personal time, I love hanging out with my partner Anna and our dog Otter, playing my guitar in one of my loud rock bands, finding new hiking trails throughout Oregon, and searching for the next best sandwich to share!
