Four boys gave me plenty of practice. Sibling disputes don't rattle me. Seniors: My time with Summerlin gave me deep respect for older adults. I bring patience, dignity, and a good ear. Pets: I share my home with a chihuahua, cats, and a very energetic lab. I also foster kittens. Small dogs have big opinions, and labs have endless energy. I keep up with both. Household help: I run a busy home of five. Schedules, meals, and daily logistics are second nature. I'm calm, organized, and warm. I'm a certified life coach, so listening is part of how I work. I am a Portland native and I worked as a teacher for 4 years. I graduated with my BA from Lewis & Clark College and earned my MAT at the University of Portland. I am currently a volunteer on the board of a nonprofit and am starting up a small online business with an old friend. I enjoy soccer, hiking, singing with my gospel choir, teaching Girl Scouts how to sew, and I’m currently renovating a vintage Airstream. I started baby-sitting as a ten-year-old, and have since worked with children of all ages. Most of my experience is with elementary school age kids, but I love babies and toddlers as well. I am a mother of 3. my daughter is 18 and my son is 6 and my other daughter is 2. my parents did foster care when I was younger, so I was exposed to all sorts of people and kids. I babysat for years, worked at a daycare and helped with many kids programs in my area and community. I love to be silly and creative.
