Across my three years of childcare experience, I have worked with children with disabilities one-on-one a multitude of times. While I was a swim instructor, I was certified to teach students with disabilities, and as a teacher's aide, I worked individually with a student alongside general classroom work. Hi my name is Sophia! I am currently a student at MHCC studying for nursing! I am offering child, senior, and pet care as well as some house keeping. I have been working in assisted memory senior care as an in-home care giver and also in a facility for about 5 years now. There, I prepared food, I did transferring, changes, cleaning, showering, medical applications, monitoring, feeding and behavioral and mental health as well. I don’t have much experience with children other than babysitting my nieces and nephew(toddlers and older)a little bit when I was younger but I really want to have more experience and learn more since I am currently taking a course on child development for my studies.
