Hi! My name is Reegan, and I’m a nurturing, creative, and experienced caregiver based in the Portland/Wilsonville area. I’ve worked with children and families in many capacities over 10+ years—as a certified birth and postpartum doula, through nonprofit outreach, and in both home and professional settings. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. I bring a calm, supportive presence and love creating meaningful, screen-free experiences for kids—whether it’s imaginative play, crafts, storytime, or outdoor fun. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping, tidying up, dishes, laundry, and organizing, as well as pet care. I’m dependable, warm, and truly love supporting families in a hands-on, heart-centered way. I’d love to connect and see how I can support your family!
Hello! I have been working with children for over 15 years! My first job in high school was as a nanny and tutor, and I then went on to be an instructor and program director on Catalina Island. Here instructed kids from 3rd grade - 12th grade in Biology and History in accordance with the California State Curriculum. Afterwards I got my degree in Teaching and History from Azusa Pacific University where I logged over 200 hours of in-class experience. After college I worked as a nanny and tutor in California, Madrid, London, and Australia for children aged 0 - 21 (with special needs). I have experience working with families of all different backgrounds and languages, as well as tutoring kids with learning disabilities and special needs (specifically Autism and Dyslexia). I am very active and like to take kids on walks, to the zoo, to the park, and play lots of games. I am currently in the process of applying to Graduate School for teaching so that I can further my work with children. If you have any questions, please reach out to me! I can't wait to get to know your family!
Stay at home Mom of two kids. One 8-year-old and a 1-year-old. Very active and hands-on with at home creativity and learning projects. Very patient. Very attentive to children and their needs. I value structure and a routine to help the children get everything they need throughout the day from learning to play to nap times. I try not to encourage screen time and would much rather have them play outside or do arts and crafts. Very loving and kind to pets as well. I've had pets my whole life and having to care for them as well as work in a veterinarian clinic.
Hello everyone! My name is Julia and I’m recent graduate from Oregon State University. I’m offering childcare services, household services, and pet care services. I have childcare experience with multiple-child families, ages 2-12. I’m able to run errands, grocery shop, clean, make meals and snacks, and laundry if requested. For pet care, I have experience with both cats and dogs. I have a cat of my own so I’m well-versed in playing, changing litter, and on-time feeding. I love playing with the animals as well, and will give them great company! I don’t have allergies to any pets. A little more about me: I love to cook new recipes, read fiction books, be out in nature, bird watch, and do arts and crafts. One of my favorite crafts I did as a kid was making fairy houses! You can take bark, leaves, sticks and twigs, moss, and anything else you can find outside (+ hot glue) and make something magical. Pro tip: Dust the top of it with fairy dust (glitter) when the kids go to bed so they wake up to a little fairy surprise!

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
