Hello, I’m Rebekah 😊 I have almost 10 years of experience working with children in various settings. When I was in high school I taught dance to 3-10 year olds and had a consistent babysitting job. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have worked in several formal and informal educational settings (day camps/overnight camps/after school programs/childcare centers). A couple of years ago I moved to Seattle and am now working full time as an administrative assistant. I’m looking for an occasional - to part time babysitting position. Some of my favorite movements working with kids include making crafts, exploring nature, fun science experiments and playing card games. I am currently only certified for Adult CPR in addition to general first aid. I have received Infant child CPR certifications in the past. After graduating college I received my preliminary teaching license. However, at the time I went to work in outdoor education settings. Due to this, my teaching license expired around 3 years ago. I have experience working with kids in Montessori settings. Also, I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats. Percy and Hercules are my cats and I am the main sitter for my sister’s two dogs.

I wanted to be able to provide more one on one care and I have since switched to nannying and I am currently training to become a postpartum doula. I love to make arts and crafts with the little ones and I don’t do any screen time. Outside here is so beautiful and I try to spend as much time as possible, walks and just soaks in the great grey overcast skies are my favorite.

Hi there! I am the mom of 2 high school kids. I have a Masters in Secondary Education, and during the school year, I run my own math tutoring business, from elementary to high school students. I have 8 years experience as an art and science teacher. I am working part-time as a nanny for infants and small children. I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers. I am an active and attentive caregiver: I sing to, read to, play with, teach, and comfort the infants/kids I nanny. I participated with my own kids in coop preschool. I still incorporate what I learned in preschool into my tutoring and nanny work: encouraging positive behavior, calmly setting limits, asking children questions, and really listening to children. I enjoy being around kids. I am a swimmer, outdoor enthusiast (hiking, biking and bird watching), and enjoy spending time with my family outdoors.

I am a mother and a grandmother. I raised my three children with love, devotion, a sense of humor, surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. They are all well adjusted adults. I have also been a caregiver/babysitter for two of my four grandchildren as a regular job, on Bainbridge Island and have taken care of all my grandchildren throughout their lives on many different occasions. Hi! My name is Jack, I am 23 years old and born and raised in Seattle. I want to become a music teacher and in the winter will begin my classes for a teaching degree. Right now I am offering childcare, pet care, and house sitting. I am an older brother of a little sister and a baby brother so I’ve been watching kids and babysitting since I was 12. Outside of my own family, I babysat through high school, including large groups of kids (group of 6 kids all under 13yo) and have experience working with kids professionally in the Seattle public system and briefly at a public middle school in Oakland CA.
