Hi! My name is Christine! I am a mental health counselor desiring to work part-time/per diem for nannying and babysitting. I currently live near Green Lake. I very much enjoy working with kids, exploring new places (especially outdoors!), playing games, crafting, and finding creative ways to have fun with kids. Most of my professional and volunteer experience has been working with kids, and I desire to continue to work with children in therapeutic settings in the future. I have worked in preschool and nannying settings for the past year and half, and prior have worked with children therapeutically in an inpatient psychiatric setting, day and overnight camps, and babysitting, mostly with infants through 12 year olds. In previous nannying and babysitting, I help with laundry, housekeeping, and meal and snack prep, and am open to doing that alongside child care as well. Personally, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, decorating, cooking and baking, and spending time with friends. I very much appreciate you considering me to work with your family!

Hi! I’m Fatima, a student at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, and I genuinely love working with children. As the oldest in my family, I naturally grew up helping care for younger siblings and relatives, and I’ve been babysitting children of all ages, from newborns to preteens since I was 12 years old. I love creating a warm, safe, and fun environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. Whether we’re doing crafts, playing outside, helping with homework, baking treats, or simply having fun together, I always try to make sure children feel supported, happy, and cared for. I also understand how important trust and communication are for parents, and I always strive to be someone families can truly rely on. In past nannying and babysitting experiences, I’ve helped with school pick-ups and drop-offs, tutoring, meal prep, bedtime routines, light housekeeping, and keeping busy schedules organized. More than anything, I love building genuine connections with the families I work with and becoming a positive and dependable presence in children’s lives. Families often describe me as patient, caring, responsible, and energetic, and I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and support your little ones!

Fatima was so kind to my son. She played games with him and fed him dinner while I was away for several hours. She communicated regularly via text. I also interviewed her by phone and found her to be lovely. I would hire her again and recommend her services.

As a nanny, my responsibilities included meal prep, bath time, grocery shopping, morning/bedtime routine, homework help, and extracurricular activities.

Camilia was great with our 2 kids (5 and 3). Would definitely hire her again!

Booked by 1 family in Seattle, WA

Hello everyone! My name is Sarra, and I live in Greenwood, Seattle. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Public Health Global Health from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!). I’ve been working as a full-time community navigator. A significant part of my job involves interacting with families and kids to create fun activities and events. I am wanting to work as a babysitter a few times a week with families who need help after school, weekends or date night! I’m musically inclined and believe that music has the power to heal any wound. I’ve always loved children and was the most trusted family member to watch over my little cousins. I have experience working with toddlers, young children, and teenagers aged 3 to 17. I’ve also worked with children on the spectrum. In my experience, I engage children in activities they enjoy the most and provide them with ideas to explore. I go out of my way to find the best activities to keep them occupied, such as learning a new language (I’m multilingual and speak French and Arabic), writing, drawing, or painting. The activities can vary depending on the child’s interests and passions. Some children love reading sessions, while others prefer singing, coloring, and drawing with music on, or simply playing board games like puzzles and interactive Lego construction games! Exploring the outdoors is also a fun activity to do if interested! I can help with homework and tutoring in various subjects, including English, Math, STEM subjects, and many others. I’m also a great cook and make all sorts of sandwiches, meals, and quick snacks that your children will love! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send me a message. I’d be more than happy to answer them for you.
