I have extensive experience caring for children from 2½ months to 17 years old through professional nannying, babysitting, tutoring, and working in both home and school environments. I earned my degree in Elementary Education with minors in Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL), which has given me a strong understanding of child development and how to support children with a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children with and without disabilities, providing individualized care, academic support, and creating fun, structured environments where they can thrive. My experience includes classroom support, tutoring, homework help, planning engaging activities, preparing meals, maintaining routines, transporting children, and supervising outings and field trips.
In addition to childcare, I have experience teaching swim lessons and coaching water polo, helping children build confidence, develop new skills, and stay active. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy taking kids on adventures like hikes, trips to the park, nature walks, and other activities that encourage curiosity, learning, and exploration.
Families describe me as dependable, patient, energetic, and compassionate. I believe in creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow. My goal is to become a trusted part of your family’s team while providing exceptional care and giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are happy, safe, and well cared for.
