Charlotte 1 review
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Albany, CA

Hi there! I'm Charlotte. I have a degree in Sociology from the USF, and I have been caring for children for 12 years as a babysitter/nanny. I am currently a full time nanny for a one year old in Bernal Heights for 3 weeks of the month, every 4th week the baby is cared for by her grandmother, and I am looking to pick up some short term/date-night gigs during that week, or evening gigs during the other weeks. I have a lot of experience working with infants and toddlers, as well as caring for multi-child homes with 4+ children. I truly love working with kids, I am a certified yoga instructor and have worked at a kids summer theater camp. I can provide multiple references upon request.

Charlotte has been watching our child since she was 7 months old as her full time nanny, essentially raising our kid with us. Her attention to detail, collaborative nature, and overwhelming kindness make her the perfect person to watch your kids in any capacity.

Lalita $35 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Lita. I recently completed the UX Design Bootcamp at UC Berkeley Extension and am currently offering childcare, Doula, and household support services. I genuinely enjoy working with children and have experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids—including twins. My past responsibilities have included school drop-offs and pick-ups, arts and crafts, tutoring, and even teaching swimming lessons. In addition to childcare, I also assist with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands. I have a passion for cooking and love sharing Thai cuisine—sometimes I even cook together with the children as a fun, hands-on activity that helps us connect. I’m also comfortable working in homes with pets and occasionally help with dog and cat sitting as well. I’d be happy to learn more about your family’s needs and see how I can support you!

Brooklyn $28 per hour for 1 child

Hello! I’m currently living and working at a Buddhist monastery in San Francisco, where I meditate daily and study Buddhist psychology. I’m preparing to begin graduate school this fall to become a therapist, and I bring a calm, attentive, and compassionate presence to my work with children. I’ve spent many years caring for kids in a variety of settings. I grew up babysitting and recently returned from Asia, where I worked as a camp counselor in Japan leading groups of children and supporting ADHD, autism, and mental health needs. I’ve also taught English to children in Vietnam and worked as a tutor in the U.S. for two years. I love to dance, play, and do crafts, and I enjoy creating a fun, supportive, and safe environment.

Meagan 2 reviews
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi I’m Meagan, I am a person who is passionate about caring for and teaching young children from infants through age 5. I have 23 years of child care experience. I am CPR and first aid certified, I am a creative and active person who enjoys helping children explore the world through art, music, outdoor activities, and sensory play. I have 72 units of early childhood education including infant and toddler development courses. I’m fluent in English. I also speak Spanish, some Portuguese and a little bit of French. I enjoy watching children explore the world around them and conquer the challenges life puts on their paths. My care taking style is play based because I believe children experience the world best when they are actively engaged in playing, exploring and using their imaginations to create new experiences for themselves. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me. I look forward to speaking with you soon! Respectfully, Meagan

Meagan is an amazing childcare provider. She started working with us when my son was 11 months old. She really helped him develop in so many ways. Meagan helped us transition from co-sleeping to sleeping on his own in crib without needing to be breathed or rocked to sleep. He started walking around 12 months and running all around by 13-14 months). Meagan is very knowledgeable. She helped us childproof our home and gives us so many great recommendations on anything can think of (e.g., best sippy cups, shoes etc). She knows about sleep schedule, wake windows, eating solids you name it! And if she doesn't know she will research and find out. Just like she did helping us teach him French. Our son knows many site words, alphabet, counting 1-20 in English and French by 15 months. Meagan helped him learn while having fun. Meagan also takes him out to explore and socialize with other kids (playground, children's gym, story time at library etc). This I am sure has helped his learning and development. She supports his emotional development, she is so patient and when he tantrums helps him sooth, models adaptive coping skills, and names feelings. As he has aged and is currently 5 years old a in school now, Meagan still supports our family with babysitting for special occasions and date night. She’s demonstrated skills with him at each age of his development from infant, toddler, to preschooler and now school age. She fun and connects well with him, he loves her. But she is has consistent routines and holds boundaries to ensure his safety and care. She also is knowledgeable about child development sharing resources and information. She also knows the east Bay Area well and shares engaging resources and activities to do with him. Meagan is all around amazing. She’s consistent and reliable as well as kind and thoughtful person. I highly recommend.
