Hi! I'm Riley, I'm 23, and living in the Nob Hill/Polk Gulch area. I graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in marketing last June, but grew up in the East Bay, and have been living in San Francisco for almost three months. Throughout high school, I frequently babysat for a family with three kids (aged 2-12) and a dog, along with a family with two kids (aged 4-7) and cats. I also worked at a summer camp, responsible for around ten 2-6 year-olds at a time for several hours a day. I'm comfortable cooking, cleaning, helping kids with tasks like dressing, and of course, playing! I can help with homework, assuming it's nothing too advanced. I also have a kitten of my own. Hello! My name is Cepideh (Cep for short) and I currently work part-time researcher at UC San Francisco, a role I secured after graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2021. In undergrad, I was an active student involved in the Undergraduate Mentorship Program which mentors and guides first year students through academic and personal situations. One of my first ever jobs was as a swim instructor at the local swim school De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA). I taught children ages 7-11 basic swim strokes and safety during their lessons. I also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor during my high school career. I led a group of elementary school children through their activities in a weeklong excursion in the Watsonville outdoor school. I find an incredible sense of wonderment when I have the opportunity to work with children. I end up learning more than I anticipated through conversations and activities I engage in with the children. I look forward to continuing to work with children in my local area!
