Hi families! My name is Catherine. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree, but I love working with children on the side, as I have always loved working with youth. I understand how instrumental it is for children to have someone patient, supportive, and caring to support their growth and well-being. I have been caregiving for children, from infants to preteens (8m-12y) for about 5 years now. I used to work as a Camp Counselor during the summers, which taught me multitasking, patience, and problem-solving, amongst several valuable lessons. I have also grown up babysitting outside the app, building valuable and meaningful connections with several families and caring for their little ones! My responsibilities consisted of organizing and maintaining each child's schedule, organizing playdates, assisting with homework, organizing and providing creative projects and arts and crafts, assisting with light housekeeping duties, and maintaining bedtime routines! My goal is to create an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. Additionally, I am offering pet care and household services. I am extremely comfortable with dogs/cats, as I grew up around them. Can work around their diets, schedules, playtime, and routines! Grew up with three very large American Bulldogs, so size is not an issue for me. I enjoy caring for both cats and dogs of all breeds! I am a mother of two amazing girls. When they were toddlers I had them in a co op preschool where the parents worked a few days a week. I really enjoyed it and my girls did as well. That was definitely my calling for working with children. I am comfortable with multiple children at one time. I love babies, toddlers and kids of all ages.
