Hi, I'm Shavonne. I have a Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development and have 10+ years babysitting experience. Besides babysitting I have various experiences working with children: I've worked as a youth tennis coach, taught Sunday school for 5-7 year olds, was a respite care worker for a child with special needs, interned in an infant classroom at a highly reputed lab school, spent almost 4 years teaching preschool and now I have been doing child development work for SF county for over 5 years. I have experience babysitting children ranging in age from 2 weeks to teenagers and families of up to 5 early childhood aged siblings at once. While babysitting, I enjoy engaging the children in arts and crafts activities; imaginative play; outings to parks and museums; and helping school aged children with homework. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.

I have 10+ years of babysitting experience, including caring for the same family for 8 years—from when the child was a newborn through age 8. That experience taught me how to handle everything from infant care to school routines with patience and consistency. I’m reliable, easygoing, and love spending time with kids—whether that’s playing, helping with homework, or keeping a calm, safe environment. I’m also big on clear communication with parents and making sure everyone feels comfortable.

Hi, My name is Ania, I'm originally from Poland and I've been working as a nanny/babysitter/ mother’s helper since July 2015. I have experience taking care of children ages 6 months to 13yo. My most recent experience: August 2025- now: taking care of 8mo girl (feeding, changing diapers, assisting with sleep training, play time in and outdoors) August 2021-present: siblings 11 and 13 yo, school pick ups, cooking dinner, play with kids, bedtime routine. August 2020- present: started with taking care of 17mo and 4yo siblings through school pick ups and taking them to after school activities when they got older. Recently my role with this family transitioned to family helper (cooking dinner for kids, taking care of laundry, dishes and kids bedtime routine, etc.) I'm trustworthy, caring, very well organized and warm person which loves kids’ energy and authenticity! If needed I can provide references from families I worked for - I'm sure they will be happy to speak with you if you're interested. Also, I'm an experienced driver. I have clean driving record. I don’t have my own car though. Looking forward to meet and work with you! Thank you, Ania

Response will be in 1 hour thanks I am a career nanny who is available for part time mornings Mon- Fri as the family I’ve been with for a year in the mornings has received a career opportunity in Europe. They will give me an excellent reference, of course. I seek guaranteed hours and I am available to start on the date that I am needed. I currently work with a family in the afternoons has their long-term nanny. Extensive experience as a nanny ( 13 years not all of my experience is listed on here, excellent references) Educator / Scholar ( currently attending) Parent (2 college kids) Currently holding all five star reviews from past and present clients through this platform. As a nanny I’m passionate about helping parents build up great kids. I’m currently taking online classes and will continue toward completion of my degree in Early Childhood Development and Psychology. I homeschooled both of my children until 1st grade ( both in college) Homeschooling is about planning, strategy and creativity. I consider myself a career nanny. In the last five years, I have regained experience in newborn , infants and toddlers ( this includes working with siblings and nanny share as well ) my calm, nurturing manner is reassuring to babies , children and parents alike. I feel that to be a a great nanny , you must have it in your heart . The character traits of patience, kindness, boundaries, empathy, compassion, calmness, acceptance, positive reinforcement, creativity, playfulness are all part of who I am. I am specialized in the areas of sleep training, routine establishment, developmental play and excellent soothing techniques. I also am very skilled in making baby food from scratch for high nutrition and health. I accept per diem work with toddlers / school age children and focus on teaching them breath work to calm themselves ( if an emotional outburst occurs) It is very common as they have many feelings and don’t always know what words to use to express it , this includes self regulation and choices including Baby Signing which encourages them to communicate well and become verbal communicators earlier. I have many other specialized skills to offer. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking reading, dancing ( with my husband) sports like tennis, swimming, pickle ball, fast walking, and yoga for fitness. I believe that the secret to a happy life comes from having a deeply grateful heart.

“We had a positive experience with Ms Mari. I loved how she cared about safety. She even shared some tips and tricks with me which I loved. She was energetic with our active 1 year old and when he slept she even helped me around the house. I would hire her again! Thanks, Mari! ”
