Hi, I’m Mikah! I offer occasional childcare with experience caring for children from 4 weeks old through early teens. I’ve been a nanny since 2018 and was a manager at a local swim school for three years. I’m currently nannying while completing my internship to become a licensed school psychologist. Outside of work, I coach youth cheerleading and compete on a cheer team myself. My responsibilities have included driving kids to and from school, tutoring, leading arts and crafts, teaching swim lessons, and helping with homework. I’m also comfortable with light housekeeping, cooking, errands, and have experience with travel nannying and overnight care. I hold a B.S. in Developmental Psychology, an M.A. in Educational Psychology, and am currently earning my Ed.S. in School Psychology. I worked for Roseville Unified School District in the TK/kinder classroom as an Instructional aide for Math/Phonics Fulltime for 2 years. Raised a family of 5 children in Granite Bay and have lived here for 39 years. I love kids! I love to play sports of all kinds with children, crafts, and all types of art. My passion is to help a child develop their Inner strength and self confidence through educational structure and games, making it so fun they don’t even realize their growing and learning. To watch, learn, and grow with a child is the greatest of life’s gifts I could ever have.

I have worked as a teachers aid for 10 years in general ed as well as special ed classes. Ages vary from pre k to 3rd grade. I looked after my mother and father as they aged. I enjoy the company of older adults. I have had dogs and cats most of my life and adore all animals.

Time management is key and not only will the household tasks and errands be completed in a timely manner., I’m an old school mom, I craft, sew, iron and capable of most household fixes.
