I also grew up taking care of a family member with disabilities as well. I adore children and spending time and playing with them. I have also taken care of an older adult who was wheelchair bound. I do my best and take care of each child and adult with great care when I am on the job or volunteering. I also own a dog and have had experience taking care of pets.

I am currently a school counselor and looking for part-time work. I have 12 years Headstart Program experience (preschool age), 10 years of being an elementary school teacher and have been a school counselor for the past 15 years, which is my current position. I have experience doing selective nanny jobs for families that have vacationed in the Palm Springs area as it fit into my holiday school schedule. I started babysitting when I was 12 and have continued to throughout my life. I’m a 50 year old mother of two boys, 22 and 20 and we had a dog and multiple cats along the way. I worked at gym daycares when the kids were little as well as traded babysitting with friends with kids. I myself was raised with a younger sister and many animals including a pony, dogs, cats, fish, birds, a bunny, turtles and rats. I spent my summers at our families ranch in Northern California which has horses, cows, dogs, cats, peacocks, turkeys and pheasants. All in all I’ve had the joy of enjoying and taking care of many children and animals through the years and look forward to doing the same with yours.
