Hi, there! My name is Anita. I am currently a full time high school art teacher in Palo Alto. My works hours are between 9 AM and 4:30 PM, but I’m happy to help out with child care and pet care during the evenings (after 5PM) and weekends. I love working with young folks and have taught elementary school kids and high schoolers for eleven years now. I have also worked at Camp Galileo as a Lead Instructor for over three years. My fondness for teaching started when I was in high school when I used to assist in teaching children how to dance and through my high school's child development program where we taught elementary school students physical education. Growing up, my mother ran a day care at our house and being a babysitter brings me back to when I used to help her out with the kids. Regarding pets, I've had pets my whole life and a dog (whom I raised from a pup until his passing) and cat of my own. I'm very comfortable with animals and find that both kids and animals warm up to me easily.
