Hello, My name is Celeste, I’m new to this app but not new to working with kids! For the last sixteen months, I’ve worked for the University of the Pacific. Those kids loved me! Many tears when I left, I even have letters from students that I’m more than willing to share! I worked with elementary and middle school kids going from Kindergarten to Eighth grade. That’s my professional background. On a personal level, I’ve babysat my three nephews and two nieces by myself when my sisters would leave town or just needed a date night. Currently, the oldest is fifteen years old and the youngest is seven but I’ve babysat them since they were babies. I have also tutored students. I usually help out with light housekeeping while I’m there. If driving is needed, I’m 20 years old and I’ve never gotten a ticket or so much as even been pulled over. I do not text and drive, I would never put anyone’s life in danger like that. As for pets, I’ve pet sat for family friends in the past including different dog breeds and cats. I do not fear bully breeds, they deserve just as much love as others. I’m not afraid of reptiles, I have a bearded dragon myself. I’m open to any and all animals and will treat them with much care! For seniors, I help my grandpa out a lot. He’s 78 years old and is very stubborn but I still help him in any way he needs. He is the only one I have experience with however I’m a quick study. I’m also a very good listener so whatever you tell me, I will apply to my work. For household services, I grew up going to clean houses with my mom. I’d go almost every day after school to help her. I have no problem cleaning places we all dread. If you give me a time limit, I will make sure to have it done before that time!

My availability is Monday-Friday mornings and full availability on Saturday & Sunday. I have worked with children ages 5-6 for about 6 months as a teacher's assistant. Hello! My first name is Zyla Janine and I just graduated with my Bachelor’s of Health Science at Sacramento State last year. Aside from caretaking, I am also a barista. I care for children of all ages, seniors, and pets as well! I also offer household services. I am the eldest daughter of my immigrant family— have been caring for my younger family for as long as I can remember. It has always been natural for me since it is a responsibility I have always had. I would bring them to school and back from it, cook for them, tutoring, and clean or run errands whilst keeping an eye on them. I have done all of the same and more with my senior family as well. Not to mention, I was a CPR/AED certified lifeguard with several years experience. Additionally, I did three sports in high school: volleyball, basketball, and track & field. I went to sectionals for shotput and discus back then—and I am currently a 2x champion for the intramural volleyball league at the Sacramento State gym. If your child is interested in sports or education, I am glad to help! I was also a tutor at Kumon, an ELA and math extracurricular program that helped kids with their homework as well as activity problems we provided. I also helped my brother with ADHD with his homework growing up too. I have always been a high achiever in school until now—I was on the Dean’s Honor List for every semester I have been at Sac State! I have been around small caged animals most of my life, like guinea pigs and fish, but I love cats and dogs and would be open to work with them!
