Hello! My name is Amaris. I’m a 19-year-old college student who is First Aid, CPR, and AED certified for infants, children, and adults. I have years of hands-on experience caring for kids of all ages and truly love what I do. I currently work at an elementary school, where I help care for a group of about 20–23 children ages 5–7 alongside another staff member. In this role, I’ve learned how to manage and connect with many children at once, adapting to different personalities and learning styles. Hi there! I'm studying psychology at UC Berkeley but am currently taking some time off. My experience in childcare comes from five years of working alongside my mom, who owns an at-home daycare, helping to look after both infants and toddlers throughout the workday. I’ve had a love for children for as long as I can remember and have been babysitting since I was in middle school.
