Hello My name is Karina, I am 52 years old and for 26 years I have been working with babies, I have experience with babies since 7 weeks of age, and able to care for 2 babies at the same time. I love walking, going to the park library doing activities with the kids . I have excellent reference

Karina came last minute to help us today as I’m recovering from surgery. It was such a relief to have her! We have a 3 year old and a 19 months old so it’s never easy to have new caregivers, but Karina did great. She is experienced, was very patient and kind, and helped clean up around the house. It was also great to chat a bit in Spanish. We’ll definitely have her again!

Hello! My name is Amary, and I’m 38 years old. I’m the mother of two adorable boys and have 10 years of babysitting experience. During my time as a student in France, I worked as a babysitter, and when I moved to the US, I decided to continue in this field. I enjoy playing various games with the kids and am open to any activity that the parents prefer. Occasionally, I try to teach them French, which I speak fluently. I’m available for occasional babysitting jobs and only accept jobs that are at least 4 hours long. I’m comfortable with dogs, but I’m not comfortable with cats because I’ve been attacked by one in the past. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, Amary

$38 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 73 families in Orinda, CA

Hi! I’m Brunna, a professional nanny and certified Newborn Care Specialist with over 10 years of experience caring for children from newborns through the teenage years. I’m currently pursuing my Early Childhood Education degree and enjoy incorporating Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired, child-led practices into my care. I love creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities based on each child’s interests—from arts and crafts and sensory play to reading, outdoor adventures, and imaginative play. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun while giving parents peace of mind. A few important notes before booking: • Please let me know in advance if anyone in the household is sick, as I frequently care for newborns and young infants. • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are charged in full. • If a shift ends early, I charge for the originally agreed-upon hours, as I reserve that time specifically for your family. I look forward to meeting your family!

Brunna was amazing with our kids. They do not take easily to new people but were, amazingly, comfortable with her right away. She really knows how to connect with each child.

Hello! I'm Linda — a trained classical singer, Montessori-informed, and 10-year nanny who genuinely loves the kiddos! I love their hilarious personalities, and believe the care and attention we give them early on shapes everything they become. (Most experience with infants and toddlers) SF native now located in North Oakland, I hold a BA from UC Davis alongside child development coursework — and I'm inspired in my work by Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan, who remind me that nurturing a child's full potential through care, structure, and encouragement is everything. My approach is firm but loving: building trust through warmth, calm guidance, and patience — guiding behavior thoughtfully rather than relying heavily on "no." Two of my ten years were spent caring for twins from infancy to toddlerhood, so I'm well practiced at juggling many demands at once! Infant care is where I feel most at home — sleep training, bottle feeding, gas relief, intro to purees & solids, BLW, tummy time, baby milestone developments, fine and large motor skills, administering medicine, and more. I am vaccinated for COVID, TDAP, and MMR, and CPR-certified for children and infants. I thrive in a collaborative nanny-parent partnership built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect — keeping parents connected through regular updates, photos, and texts, and adapting to each family's unique values and rhythms. My primary role is as a nanny, with a strong focus on nurturing each child's development and growth. I am not seeking a combined nanny + housekeeping/mother's helper position — though I'm open to extra non-child related tasks (clearly set & agreed upon) at a higher rate.* I also love incorporating music into childcare and offer beginner voice lessons! In my 20s I worked for a Bay Area nonprofit that I still volunteer with today. Contract agreements required for jobs 4+ wks. 3-hr minimum ($100 base). Same-day cancellations charged in full.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 9 families in Orinda, CA

Hi, I’m Ali. I am a part time nanny with experience with kids of multiple ages. I love bonding with families and children to help them learn, play, and grow! I am a graduate student studying to become a child and family therapist (MFT) and am passionate about supporting families. I have reliable transportation and experience driving kids to and from school, activities, or appointments. I am very familiar with kids’ busy schedules! Some of my favorite activities include being outdoors, arts and crafts, games, music, dance, and rollerskating. I absolutely love to do creative projects with kids and provide an engaging environment. I’m also an animal lover and happy to provide pet care. I especially love cats! Other experience/specialties: LGBTQ+ families, families experiencing divorce, children in therapy, neurodivergent children. I am also trained as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for children with developmental/intellectual disabilities, and registered as a provider with East Bay Regional Center. I have current CPR/first aid certification.

Ali got along with my kids right away, with a calm but competent demeanor that put everyone at ease!
