I graduated from SFSU with degrees in business and education, and have spent the past five years working at nonprofits. I'm currently in a Master's program at SJSU pursuing a career in Speech-Language Pathology. Along with being an aunt to five nieces and a nephew, I have a strong background in childcare. I have worked as a preschool teacher, served as a camp counselor at the Santa Barbara Zoo, and volunteered with 826 Valencia, supporting elementary school students, and volunteered with a summer camp for children with disabilities at Pomeroy Recreation Center. Hello! My name is Leo (he/him) and I am a PsyD student in Berkeley. I used to work as a paraeducator for both OUSD and AUSD before I became a full time student! I am currently/consistently babysitting for a family with a 3 year old whose primary language is Japanese. Responsibilities also include driving their child (with family’s car) to gymnastics, bring him to the park, potty training, bathing, and putting him to bed/naptime. I’ve also worked with high schoolers for 3 years and have been working with elementary schoolers for a little over a year.
