Hello my name is Laura. I have been babysitting ever since I was in middle school and through out college (19). I am an only child, so never had siblings to play on my own. I have always treated the children in my care as if they were my own family. My education background is a B.S in child development and a minor in psychology from Cal Poly SLO and a AA degree from MPC in Child Development. Personally I love taking care of children because it is so much making crafts with them and seeing how they see the world in their eyes.

My name is Olivia and I am currently a full-time graduate student at California State University, Monterey Bay, studying Speech-Language Pathology with the goal of being a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for children with special needs. I am CPR-BLS certified and can provide you with my certificate! I have worked with children ranging from infants to teenagers for almost a decade! In the past five years, I have worked as a lead teacher for after-school group care at elementary schools throughout San Luis Obispo, and most recently as an assistant teacher at a special-needs preschool with children ages 2-5. Additionally, I have experience and a deep passion towards caring for children with special needs, including but not limited to the autism spectrum, Down syndrome, and other behavioral needs, as well as familiarity with children using augmentative and alternative communication devices (AAC). I strongly believe that every child deserves nothing less than top notch care and advocacy for their unique needs. I’m also a huge supporter of creativity and the arts! I received my bachelor’s degree in 2024 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in Studio Arts (painting and drawing), and have taught various art camps and classes for kids ages 3-14 including painting, ceramics, papier-mâché, and more. I’m a pet lover and have two dogs of my own! I’m happy to help with feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company.
