Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi, my name is Toshaleza (pronounced TOE-SHUH-LAY-ZUH) and most people call me Tosha. I was born and raised in California into a huge extended family and having always had a way with babies and small children, I was the kid that happily babysat my younger cousins and family friends for free (until my mom insisted I start charging for my services😄). Professionally, I have worked with children for 28 years (8 as a Montessori preschool teacher and 20 as a nanny). As a nanny I have had the pleasure of working with 4 great families caring for 9 amazing children and 1 really cool dog. I was with the first family for 7 years (the children were 11 y/o, 6 y/o, and 4 1/2 m/o when I started), the second family for 9 months (the children were 2 1/2 y/o and 3 w/o when I started), the third family for 2 years (the child was 2 y/o when I started), and the fourth family for 10 years (the children were 4 y/o, 1 y/o, in utero, and their dog was 6 y/o when I started). I just completed a 3 month temporary engagement as a Mother’s helper with a wonderful family (supporting the mom with their premature newborn twins). So, I am open to short term or long term positions and have worked with children from newborn to teens. I am kind, conscientious, loving, patient, respectful, organized, reliable, observant, communicative, encouraging, consistent, direct, engaging, and playful. I am looking for a part-time (20 - 36 hours per week) nanny position and will be available to start immediately.

Tosha has been fantastic with our daughter. She brings a balance of real educational background and genuine warmness.

$23 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in San Francisco, CA

Hello there! I’m Yelyzaveta, you also can call me Ellie — a trustworthy, experienced caregiver who’s loved working with children since I was 11. My childcare experience began with my nephew (diapers, doctor visits, feeding, baths, bedtime, homework help) and continued after I moved to the U.S. in 2022, when I lived with a family and cared for their 1-year-old and 3-year-old for over a year. My duties included meal preparation , daycare drop-offs and pickups , bathing, educational play, storytime, museum outings, and building routines that made the day calm and fun. I still help their family occasionally. I’m patient and attentive — when a child is upset I give them space, check they feel safe, and help them name and work through their feelings. I bring creativity to play (arts & crafts, building, interactive games), read aloud with enthusiasm, and support early learning and motor skills. I’m also comfortable with light household tasks while children nap, and happy to help with cooking and homework support. Outside of childcare, I work as a café lead. I hold a degree in Food Technology and plan to study something different in college. I speak English, Ukrainian, and Russian. People describe me as organized, responsible, and caring. I’m always more than happy to have a chat or a quick call with potential families so we can discuss details and make sure you feel comfortable before we begin. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and create a safe, fun, and caring environment for your children!

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi, I’m Quinlan and I have been enjoying babysitting for over 6 years. I moved to California from Chicago after college to pursue a career in outdoor education. Through my experience in childcare, I have worked with children of all ages including infants, and children with developmental and/or physical disabilities. In my free time, you might find me hiking, doing yoga, eating ice cream, or volunteering at the Marine Mammal Center. I am always excited to help out parents and get to know kids even if it means just for a night, morning, or even homework help! I am fully vaccinated and have a reliable car.

Quinlan is such a rare gem! We are so grateful to have met her. She is able to connect and attune with our toddler in ways others can only dream of. We love how much our toddler has fun and engages with Quinlan and that’s because of the type of care and energy she brings to caregiving.

Hi! My name is Gina, and I’m from Colombia. I’m looking for extra babysitting opportunities. I’m a responsible, respectful, and loving person who truly enjoys helping families and caring for children. Currently, I take care of twin 2-year-olds and their siblings of 4 and 7 years old. I have experience caring for children of different ages — from infants to school-aged kids. In Colombia, I worked with two children, aged 8 and 1, which gave me valuable experience with different developmental stages. I enjoy doing activities such as arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, and helping with routines. My daily tasks include cooking for the kids, school pick-up, laundry, organizing play areas, and assisting with nap and bedtime routines. I offer child care, and pet care. I also love animals! I have pets myself and I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. I can help with walking, feeding, and playing with your pets if needed.

Yinna was prompt and patient with our almost 3 year old.
