I started nannying after leaving my job as a TV producer when my son was born in 2004. Since then I've cared for numerous newborns, babies, and toddlers, including several sets of twins. The last few years I've had the joy of nannying my niece's twin boys who just turned 4. As preemies, they required specialized round-the-clock care that I was privileged to be part of. Now they're healthy, happy, and enjoying preschool, so my time has freed up and I'd love to share it with other babies and little ones. Most recently I’ve cared for a new set of twin boys, in addition to two separate 4 month old girls. Because I’m not looking for full time work, my schedule is often flexible. One of my hobbies is photography, so you can expect plenty of photos of your little one throughout our time together.

Bonita is so wonderful! She watched our daughter Olive starting from when she was just three months old—we were nervous to have someone besides us take care of her so young, but Bonita is so good with babies and made us feel comfortable immediately. She’s incredibly reliable, flexible, and just a really kind and warm person. Can’t recommend her enough!

Hi, my name is Maryanne! I’m a local college student working towards my degree in Marine Biology. I worked at the Randall Museum, I got to take care of the museum animals and also teach field trip classes! I’m currently working as a Vet Tech at Veterinary Hospital in the Marina part time! I have about 7 years of babysitting/nannying experience, I’ve worked with children from 2 months-13 years old. Caretaking and teaching is something I truly love doing. I am also CPR/First Aid Certified! I enjoy activities that include arts, crafts, nature, and music! Growing up in San Francisco has given me so much love for the arts as well as the beautiful parks in the area

Maryanne is great! She arrived early and immediately jumped into play with my preschooler. He usually freaks out when we leave, but he was having so much fun with Maryanne already that he didn’t even want to pause to say goodbye 😂

I’m a caring and reliable babysitter with experience working with children of many different ages. I currently work with special needs kids, which has helped me develop strong patience, communication skills, and a calm, supportive approach. I truly love working with children and plan to go into education after college. I enjoy creating a safe, fun environment where kids feel comfortable, engaged, and encouraged to be themselves.

$27 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 7 families in San Francisco, CA

Hello there! My name is Juabidun, and I have been babysitting for about 10 years now! I have primarily babysat my 3 younger siblings from when they were newborns, but I am also trusted with my cousin’s and aunt’s children. I can change diapers, feed children, and bathe as well (children who are able to stand and are potty-trained). I love being able to talk with children and watch them grow because I can see the next generation of people thriving in front of me. I also love to hear the ideas of young children about what they care about, believe in, and their future hopes. My biggest belief is that when taking care of children, being the most patient version of myself is crucial because these are beings that are still learning and growing. They deserve love, affection, and attention in order to become the best versions of themselves. In addition to these things, I am capable of doing light house-keeping/chores and am open to running small errands as well. I hope that I can be a great candidate in your babysitter hunt :)

Juabidun was amazing with our 10 month old when he had a fussy evening. We would definitely hire her again!

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 5 families in San Francisco, CA

Hello, my name is Jamie, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development. During my academic school year, I am apart of different on campus organizations but love to work and support youth as well. For the past 3 summers, I have been caregiving for children ages 1–12. My ultimate priority is to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for all aged children. Though I recently joined the UrbansSitter community, I have been a child caregiver for different families. In my most recent babysitting job, I babysat a toddler, that I have been caregiving for two summers. I have experience building that long-term relationship with both the child and family. I would also love to incorporate the material and skills I’ve learned in my education, into my caregiving experience. I joined UrbanSitter to gain more hands on experience and continue growing as a caregiver. Outside of work and school, I love playing sports, going hiking, and spending time with my younger brothers. I would describe myself as a patient, dependable, energetic, and caring, person. My ultimate goals is for families to feel comfortable, safe, and supported when trusting me with their children.

Jamie was awesome. Highly recommend her. She was on time (early), and very communicative. She picked up our daughter from school and drove her to her soccer practice and back home.
