Paola Andrea 2 reviews
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi there! My name is Paola, I’m from Colombia and I’m 29 y/o. I was an Au Pair from 2020 to 2022 with a wonderful family in the Bay Area with 3 kids, but I have been working in childcare and parent helping positions (Helping with kids care, schedule and house tasks) the last years while going to grad school. I have experience taking care of babies, toddlers and older kids as well. I enjoy teaching, supporting and helping with kids development processes through art craft projects and outdoor activities, I also like encouraging and joining their own preferred activities. I’m very good with babies, very aware of their development process and how to encourage them and support them according to their own needs and speed. I have a driver's license in CA so I can drive if needed, have a clean driving record, but I don’t have a car. I’m used to biking, using public transportation, or walking in the city. I feel totally confortable biking with kids. I used to bike with a baby and a 5 yr old in the back of an electric bike and enjoyed it a lot! My priorities while taking care of kids are safety, respect and of course fun! I’m a very organized person and I highly appreciate and encourage respect, honesty and empathy from and to others.

Paola was wonderful - she arrived on time, immediately made my shy son feel comfortable, and she shared a very nice recap of their time together. I would love to have her come again!

Keren $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello Families! My name is Keren, I’m from Colombia and I have 6 years of professional experience caring for children from 4 months to 5 years old. I’m passionate about creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where children can grow and thrive. My childcare approach is inspired by Montessori principles and respectful parenting, encouraging independence, curiosity, and kindness. I believe in engaging children through creative play, storytelling, music, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning experiences. I adapt my activities according to each child’s age, personality, and needs. I am CPR certified, pet-friendly, a strong swimmer, and a non-smoker. I am comfortable caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, managing daily routines such as feeding, naps, diaper changes, potty training and developmental activities. I also enjoy helping with light meal prep and keeping play areas organized. As a native Spanish speaker with basic English skills (improving every day), I’m happy to introduce children to a second language in a natural and fun way. Families I’ve worked with describe me as patient, trustworthy, and responsible, with a genuine love for children. I value open communication with parents to ensure we are always working together in the best interest of the child. My goal is to become a positive and dependable part of your family’s support system, helping your little ones feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. I look forward to meeting your family and providing care that is both professional and full of heart.

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hello! My name is Savannah, and I am currently an elementary school teacher. I earned my degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Elementary Education from San Francisco State University. I also have an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from SFSU. My passion for teaching began at a young age, inspired by watching my mother teach. I started working with children at 12 as a teacher’s assistant at my dance studio and became a dance teacher at 14, working with students ages 3–12 for six years. I’ve also worked in a child development center with toddlers and have many years of babysitting experience with school-age children. I am passionate about creating positive, engaging learning environments where children feel supported and inspired. Outside of teaching, I’m a big dog lover and have grown up with golden retrievers my whole life!

It was wonderful having Savannah help us and we look forward to seeing her back! She knew just how to jump into the 5 and 3 year old dynamic and keep them engaged. Both kids had a fun time and were sad to see her leave.

Hannah 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m an energetic, easygoing, and very patient caregiver with lots of experience caring for kids of all ages — especially preschoolers. I started helping with younger children in after-school programs since I was 11. I’m great at keeping things fun, hands-on, and engaging while still being reliable and communicative with parents. Professionally, I worked as a summer camp counselor for two years with age ranges as young as 3 and as old as 11. During busy weeks, I successfully managed groups of up to 18 children and consistently received excellent reviews from parents for my attentiveness, creativity, and ability to build positive connections. Additionally, I volunteered at a children's hospital in their activities centers for 2 years as well. I’m highly communicative, flexible, and naturally a night owl, so late evening hours are a great fit for me (11pm is fine for me). I also have a day job and am comfortable with no guaranteed hours, so 1-2 times a month is perfect for me as long as dates are pre-communicated. I bring a lot of energy and patience to each job, which makes it easy for me to keep up with even the wiliest little ones. My goal is always to create a fun, nurturing environment where children feel safe and cared for while also supporting your family’s needs. I also grew up with dogs, so I am very comfortable with and am happy to assist with any pet needs as well.

Hannah is always on time and presentable. She holds herself to a high standard and has a can-do type of personality. I appreciate that she actually puts the energy in and deeply cares about her position as a sitter. We give the highest rating possible and recommend Hannah to anyone who needs a sitter.
