Hi, My name is Antje and I am 39 years old. I have been working as a Full-Time Nanny for the last 20 years. In July of 2005 , I started taking care of two little girls - Kiara was 16 months old and Aria was about 3 months old when I started watching them for 45 hours a week in the East Bay. I worked with them for 3 1/2years and it was wonderful to see them grow up. Seeing them write, read , ride their bikes and just look like little adults now seems magical remembering the times when they weren't even walking or talking. =). In January 2009, I moved from the East Bay to San Francisco. Therefore, I started a Nanny Position in San Francisco. Milo had just turned 5 months when I started watching him full-Time in the beginning of that year. His little cousin Sienna joined us at the beginning of February. She was 2 1/2 months old at that point. Starting then we spent 40 fun hours together every week. When they were about 6 months old, we started introducing them to solid foods that either the moms or I cooked for them. Sienna's mom had a really time-consuming job and hardly ever got to see her. Therefore she quit her job at the end of November meaning that they didn't need a Full-Time Nanny anymore. In January 2010 I started nannying little Oliver. He was born in August 2009 and was about 4 more old when I started working with him. Ollie grew into a smart, fun and energetic little man that started pre-school at the end of 2011 which is when I stopped working for them. After moving to San Diego in 2012, I started working for the most wonderful family in March. Brandon and Jason were 11 and 8 years old and its been such a fun ride to help them grow up. Besides doing homework and staying on track with a busy activity schedule, we loved playing board games, bake or enjoy the outdoors. After moving back to San Francisco in March 2015, I got to be full-time with the sweetest little girl for 5 years! Since March 2020, I have been taking care of the greatest brother/sister duo who were 3 months and 25 months when we started our journey together! After 5 years, the position is transitioning from full time to part time due to both kids being in school till 3. While getting to work with all the sweet babies, I earned my undergraduate degree in criminal justice and economics from Cal State East Bay. I am an energetic, creative and really patient person who values an honest communication and feels incredibly lucky to make a kids childhood that much more magical!

Antje won over our 24-month-old from the elevator ride up! She's a complete natural with kids - spent the whole day engaged in his world, speaking German the entire time. High energy, bonded instantly, and asked all the right questions to become independent in our home. Reliable, punctual, and gained our trust immediately. Highly recommend, especially for families wanting German language exposure.

Hello families! I’m Maria Paula (or Mapy for short), a warm, responsible, and creative caregiver with over 10 years of experience working with kids of all ages—from infants to elementary schoolers. I’m 34 and recently returned to the Bay Area after completing my Master’s in Urban Studies in Europe. While I explore full-time opportunities in my field, I’d love to help local families with part-time or occasional babysitting. My childcare journey started in Colombia, then brought me to the U.S. as an au pair for two years in California. Since then, I’ve spent over a decade caring for little ones, with a special focus on infants, toddlers, and early graders. Whether it’s outdoor adventures (parks, hikes, museums), crafting sessions, or cozy storytimes, I love blending fun with learning. Bonus: I’m a pro at handling multiples and thrive on keeping kids engaged! When I’m not babysitting, you’ll find me reading, experimenting with new recipes, or exploring Bay Area trails—usually with a coffee in hand. I am also an animal lover!

Maria Paula is very friendly, professional and easy to work with! She takes good care of my 2.5 month old baby. :) I will definitely work with her again!
