Hi, my name is Lily. I am a teacher at Town School For Boys here in San Fransisco. I've worked as a teacher with K-4 students for 3 years. I have over 10 years of babysitting and nannying experiences with 0 - 14 year olds and have worked with some families for over 10 years! I graduated from UC Berkeley and live in the outer Richmond. I am looking to find a family that needs occasional support in between travels this summer.
I started by helping my mom with my siblings; Which just ignited the joy I have with working with children. I'm very patient, and I'm able to provide help where it's needed. I'm starting my first semester at ccsf for ECE, as my focus is to get a job working with children. I'm great at cooking and following diet restrictions. Food safety is my number one priority when it comes to this. I'm able to multitask and take care of anything I may need with a good amount of precision. I genuinely love working with kids, and I hope to have some of my own someday. I have about 10-12 years of experience working with children; my experience primarily comes from helping raise my siblings into the preteens they are now. I grew up cleaning and cooking, so I'm well-equipped when it comes to these.
I am a retired modern jazz dancer and graduated from San Francisco State in 1980 with a degree in Dance/Theatre. I am still interested in the performing arts. I love music of many kinds and love to see the progress of young musicians.. I will be starting to volunteer as a reading tutor for elementary schools in San Francisco sometime in February 2026. I have been working with children in professional settings for the past 6 years now. I have been camp counselor, babysitter, after school child care leader, nanny, TA for early childhood school, and now I am currently a para educator in a TK classroom at an elementary school in the city. I have worked with all ages from infants to middle school. I love to work with kids because it is rewarding and fulfilling to watch tiny humans develop and become their own person. Hi my name is Phoebea, a college graduate with Associate Degree, a mother of 2 adult children. For nannying, I worked one year with twin boys of 5 month-old, two and half year with a girl of 2 month-old, half a year with 2.5 year-old boy and several short term baby sitting jobs. For senior care, I worked for 9 years as home care aid. I started working in trading and exporting firms after college. At the same time, I cared for my two children. My son had some serious health conditions which required regular blood transfusions, surgeries, and eventually a bone marrow transplant. His one year recovery demanded ultra care, patience and attention to details from me, his primary caregiver. While I cooked 3 fresh meals daily for him to prevent infection and contamination, I became quite a polished and nutrition conscious cook. We spent over 10 years in hospital (children's oncology) from time to time. We understand what is precious in life. A smile, some positive words, love and support are so precious to people in need. I love to engage in care giving. The sweet smile of the little boys and girls, and the comfort in the eyes of the seniors are some beautiful things worthwhile to work for.
