Hi! I’m Raquel 😊 I’m studying Psychology with a focus on child development, and I’ve been caring for kids for over 14 years — from newborns to school-age children, including twins! Families describe me as patient, loving, and reliable. I truly enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel safe while having fun. Whether it’s reading stories, doing crafts, or exploring outdoors, I always aim to create an encouraging and positive environment. I have 9 years of experience in the classroom as a gen-ed teacher and 3 years of experience as a special education teacher for students with mild to moderate disabilities. Throughout my time teacher, in college, and high school I have worked part time for many families as a nanny, tutor, swim instructor, house manager, you name it. I am now a recent graduate with a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I am working as a therapist with parents and kids. I love being around people, getting outside, and doing fun activities that get our brains and bodies working. I cook, clean, do laundry, plan activities for my own family and enjoy doing the same things for others.

Hi! I’m a 4th Grade teacher in Denver Public Schools district on summer break. I’ve taught elementary grade levels (all subjects!) for 6 years. Throughout the years, I’ve taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I am very familiar with the Literacy and Math standards progression from K-5 and the strategies/language students need to learn to reach their academic goals. In past summers, I have taught summer school, coordinated summer camps, and worked for the parks and rec department a coaching soccer and basketball. I believe that learning needs to be a great mix of hard work and fun! This summer, I decided to take the summer off and not commit to a full time position. So here I am- still very much eager to be around kids on a part time basis. I’m excited to meet you, your family, and learn about how I can be the most helpful!

Hi, I’m Lindsay! As the second oldest of five, I grew up helping care for my younger siblings, including my brother with Williams Syndrome. This experience taught me the importance of patience, kindness, and understanding in caregiving. I began babysitting for other families at age 14 and have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to 12 years old. I graduated from college in 2018, spent two years in Boston, and moved to Denver in August 2020. I have a genuine love for spending time with kids and enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences through arts and crafts, playing games outside, and reading stories. I’m known for being creative, energetic, and playful, and I always strive to provide a nurturing and supportive environment.
