Jasmin 1 review
$22 per hour for 1 child

I am an energetic and hardworking recent graduate with 10 years of experience of increasing responsibility in childcare. I have recently relocated from the Bronx NYC area, back to the Columbia Heights DC area! I am able to respond efficiently and creatively to unusual or difficult situations and am highly adept at planning and supervising children while constructing a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Here is a bit of background about me: I grew up in the heart of Washington DC and have worked as a local babysitter for upwards of four years. In addition to having an impressive record of parent and child satisfaction, I am also highly proficient in structuring playtime and lessons to fit the needs of children under my supervision. I can efficiently cook for and feed children, actively engage children in exciting activities ( i.e. park visits, Lego building tournaments, dancing games), and perform light housekeeping if needed. Professionally, I have worked as a middle school math tutor and mentor. I've also worked as a camp counselor at Sidwell Summer and was responsible for creating and supervising daily activities, engaging campers, managing behavior, and maintaining a welcoming an exciting atmosphere.

Jasmin brings a warm, calming presence to our home when she cares for our kids. She’s patient and very kind with the way she speaks and handles herself. My kids are not very close in age but Jasmin seems to always make sure to engage with them at their level. My 11 year old has mentioned she’s creative and fun while my 2 year old smiles and welcomes her when he sees her (which is a big deal for us). Overall it’s been a pleasure to work with Jasmin and we hope to continue to use her services going forward.

Booked by 2 families in Washington, DC

Hi! I’m someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and making life a little easier for the families I work with. I’m dependable, patient, and caring, and I always try to create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment. Whether I’m caring for children, spending time with seniors, looking after pets, or helping around the house, I treat every family with the same kindness, respect, and attention I would give my own. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care so you can have peace of mind knowing your loved ones and your home are in good hands.

Claire $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello families! My name is Claire Guthrie. I am currently living in Idaho, but will be moving to D.C. in June for school. I am going to school for early childhood development, I will be doing classes online and will be attending part time. I am looking for an amazing family to work for as a nanny. I have about 1 1/2 years of experience at a daycare. I worked mostly with toddlers and infants but got a ton of experience with school age children as well. I currently work as a nanny for 18 month old twin boys. I’ve been working with them for 14 months, and enjoyed every moment of it. It breaks my heart to leave, but I need to further my career and get an education. I need to work full time to keep up with living expenses and ask for at least $25 an hour considering I am living by myself, and going to school as well. I am also open to date nights and other babysitting jobs as well! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Thanks, Claire
