Hi, I’m Lauren-Nicole 😊👋🏽 Engaging, easygoing sitter with 8+ years of childcare experience through teaching, summer camps, and caregiving! Current high school educator (Full time) with evening and weekend availability. I have my own vehicle to get to/from shifts. In my free time I enjoy working out (gym/sports), music (singing), practicing on duolingo (currently learning Spanish) and exploring new places. I live in the DC area with my fur baby. I’ve worked as a summer camp counselor, so I’m comfy with energetic children, and I have the creativity to keep them engaged! This role was pretty active so I am up for any high energy activities (sports, obstacle courses, swimming, outdoor activities, etc.), in addition to low energy, quiet time activities (reading, studying, quiet games). Having worked as a preschool teaching assistant and gym facility caregiver, I’ve facilitated academic activities, games, nap time and lunch/snack times for large groups of children. I currently teach and tutor students, so I’m comfy offering homework help. I’ve worked with children between the ages of 1 and 17 years old (Minimal infant care experience). I look forward to working with your family! :) Experience: HS teaching, nannying, tutoring, preschool assistant, summer camp counselor, stay and play caregiver, youth mentor Current & Past childcare employers: Maryland public schools, YMCA, University of Maryland-Baltimore County, TIC camp, Maryland-based church

Lauren-Nicole consistently demonstrates exceptional care and trustworthiness in her role as a sitter. Her reliability and engaging demeanor enable her to effectively manage children across a diverse range of ages. Our family highly recommends her services and anticipates continued engagement with her excellent services in the future.

As a philosophy and English major at Howard University, I bring a unique blend of intellectual curiosity and communication skills to the table. My experience as a debate coach for middle schoolers at DC Prep showcases my ability to guide and mentor young minds. Additionally, my role in caring for my 4 younger siblings, aged 18 months to 17 years old, along with four years of dedicated care for my infant cousins, highlights my nurturing nature. This extensive background in childcare, coupled with my college studies, demonstrates a well-rounded skill set for the role of your child Or children baby sitter. My natural patience and emphasis on communication further underscore my suitability, making me an ideal candidate to ensure a safe and enriching environment for children under my care. BLS/CPR Certified

Lotonia was amazing with our 3 little kids! Would definitely recommend!!!!

Hi! My name is Carmen and I am a sophomore at Georgetown University studying business! I have been babysitting my moms friends kids since I was little and have always loved working with kids. I have experience volunteering at an orphanage where I visit once a week and work mostly with babies 0-3 years old. I also work part time at Georgetown with a family of 2 kids (3 months and 2 years old!) and a family with a 5 year-old boy. I have experience feeding, bathing, and keeping kids entertained! I like working with kids because through babysitting I get to relive my childhood through the eyes of the kids I care for. There is so much to learn from children and I love to teach them the alphabet, colors, animals while I learn from them. I also speak Spanish, so also love to teach little ones Spanish if it is okay with the parents! In my spare time, I like to journal, go on walks, try new coffee shops, and spend time with friends and family. My skills include bedtime routine, cooking, and tutoring. I am open to working with families with pets!

Carmen was super sweet, prompt and great with both of our kids! Would definitely recommend and hire her again in the future!

Hello families. My name is Anne and I'm an experienced bilingual babysitter who enjoys working with children of any age. Kids bring so much joy to the world and it creates happiness to see them grow and to nurture their creativity. I always try to adjust to children's unique needs. As a former physical therapist I'm comfortable caring for children with special needs. Favorite babysitting activities include arts and crafts, reading, being outdoors, meal prep and clean up, bath time and bed time routines. I like to cook and do not mind doing household chores. I do have a drivers license. If you think I'm a good match I would be happy to hear from you.

Anne was great and we would highly recommend her. She cared after our 10 months old during our evening date, she was extremely punctual, professional and calm. She was also very flexible. We trusted her fully. Thank you! Edit to add after 10+ bookings with her - Anne Kathrin is definitely the most reliable and caring babysitter in the area. She’s cared after our son many evenings from age 10 months to 19 months and she’s the best from infancy to toddlerhood!
