Hi – My name is Karen, and I’m currently on a gap year from the University of Michigan. I’m using this time to work and save up before returning to finish my degree. I love working with kids and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’ve helped my aunt with her nanny job and also worked at a home daycare, caring for children of different ages. I’ve also cared for my nieces, so I’m used to keeping things fun, patient, and organized. I can cook, help with light cleaning, and assist with household tasks. I don’t drive, but I’m reliable, always on time, and prefer families nearby or accessible by public transit. I’m also comfortable working with dogs and enjoy creating a warm, positive environment for families.

I am a second-year medical student at Loyola with a background in neuroscience and I am looking to help families, offering child and senior care. I have experience as a caregiver for my grandmother and for my autistic brother. I have also worked as a math tutor, so I am happy to help with tutoring or errands like driving to/from school and appointments. Ideally, I am hoping to house-sit and have time to study for my own school work alongside helping kids with their homework. I am allergic to animal dander, but I am a huge animal lover nevertheless! Hi, my names Ruby, I used to babysit a lot in high school before I moved and thought it was so fun! I mostly worked with two kids aged 2 and 4, and babysat them for almost a year. I’m a first year college student so babysitting is a great way for me to make money while still having time to focus on school work. I’m also an artist although I’m still working towards making a living off that. But if your kids enjoy to draw I’ll probably end up teaching them a thing or two too!

I am a prek sped teacher and willing to work with special needs children or many at once but price may increase for multiples not special needs special prices. However, I want to have clear expectations. I am ell certified and almost a learning behavior specialist. I love art outdoors science and sports! I love to teach through hands on methods and do not raise my voice to children unless an emergency. If this happens, I’ll explain why to the child and tell you. I’m comfortable with many little ones.
