Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, or just keeping kids engaged with fun activities (and yes, I’m definitely the type to build forts or play games with them 😊). Overall, I just aim to create a space where kids feel comfortable and cared for, and where parents feel at ease knowing everything is in good hands.

Hi! I’m Allison, a junior at Simmons University studying sociology, public health, and communications. I am looking for a number of caregiving roles in childcare, pet care, and household care. I have experience in a number of care giving settings including as a summer camp counselor to kids (ages 4-9), babysitting for family friends (ages 5-12), cat/dog sitting for family and friends, as well as house sitting and cleaning for family and friends. I am a very organized, detail oriented, and dependable person in my work, school, and personal life. In my experience as a summer camp counselor I helped to manage and engage groups of up to 50 children in crowded public places such as amusement parks, ensured children’s safety while having fun in a variety of environments including swimming holes, and adapted activities to help suit children with different individual needs.

Hi! My name is Vivian and I am currently 18 years old as a senior in highschool at Beaver Country Day in Brookline. I have been working with children for many years now. Starting at the age of 11, I became a mothers helper for some of my neighbors. Along side my babysitting jobs, I have had lots of professional experience with children as well. When I turned `13, I became a Conselor in Training at Beaver Summer Camp and for every summer since, I have been a Camp Counselor for campers ages 3-6. Futhermore, when I was 14-16, I volenteered everyday at the Pine Manor Child Study Center as an assistant teacher.
