Hi families! My name is Astrid. I began my childcare journey at just 19 years old. I helped out as an assistant teacher in my mother Montessori daycare for 5 years. I then went on to be a career nanny with a 4 year gap starting in 2020 due to the pandemic. In my years of being a nanny, I have taken several college courses in child psychology and development. My approach to child care is heavily influenced by the Montessori philosophy, letting the child’s mind guide me into caring for them. I’ve been babysitting since I was 14 with nieces, nephews, friends little siblings and even my coaches kids. I have experience ranging from infants all the way to 13 year olds.
