I have experience working with school age children age 5-13. I have experience with infants as well as toddlers. I also have my own child who is 8 years old and raised him mostly on my own since infancy. I also have 13 years experience working with the elderly in a home care setting. I have had pets before too and love animals so I love pet sitting as well. I currently live pet free, but don’t mind watching your lovely companion. I am CPR/First Aid certified as well as have my EEC certification and recent CORI check done. I also have experience working with special needs children that have autism and other disorders.

Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, or just keeping kids engaged with fun activities (and yes, I’m definitely the type to build forts or play games with them 😊).
