I am a caring, dependable, and energetic single mom and grandmother with a lifelong passion for helping others. I raised three children—now adults—and I’m a proud grandmother to an almost‑three‑year‑old grandson who keeps me laughing and on my toes every other weekend. Now that my own children are grown, I find myself missing the chaos that comes with caring for little ones and would love to support families who could use an extra, trusted set of hands. I have extensive hands‑on experience which includes my own children with food allergies and ADHD. Safety, structure, and compassion are always my top priorities. I’m a “hands‑on” caregiver who truly enjoys getting down on the floor to play, read, laugh, and keep kids engaged. Having raised children involved in multiple sports and activities, I understand busy schedules, routines, and the importance of consistency in daily life.
In addition to child care, I have a deep respect and sensitivity for senior care. I have helped care for my father in his later years and continue to assist my mother, giving me valuable experience with companionship, errands, shopping, and attentiveness to daily needs. I believe meaningful conversation, patience, and dignity make all the difference.
I’m also an animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats. I currently have my own dog, Black Lab Mix named Luna and grew up surrounded by cats, so I’m very comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and general pet care. Previously, I was a Girl Scout Leader for an 8th–12th grade troop, which strengthened my leadership, organizational, and mentoring skills. Professionally, I work full‑time at a local company where I’ve been happily employed for over 30 years. I love my job and am seeking opportunities to help families, seniors, and pet owners on evenings or weekends while earning a little extra income—without ever compromising my current job. If you’re looking for someone nurturing, experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in the well‑being of your loved ones, I would be honored to help.
