Linsey 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Long Island City, NY

Hi! My name is Linsey and I’m currently 21 years old! I moved to NYC from Los Angeles at the beginning of August, and I’m super excited to be here! I’ve been babysitting a lot more consistently after graduating high school to become more financially independent, and since then have made many incredible relationships with children I’ve sat for! I’ve been babysitting since 13 or 14 years old helping out my older sister take care of her two children. I cultivated a love for taking care of children and started to continue doing it outside of my family with family friends. I have taken care of ages 6 months to pre-teens. My goal with children is to just have fun and be creative, and encourage them to be themselves—I have a gentle but assertive approach with kids but very willing to adapt to your preferred approach! My responsibilities I’ve taken on have been getting a child ready for school, driving kids, taking them to their afterschool activities, feeding them dinner, taking them to the park/swimming pool etc, organizing their rooms, among other things. I love cats and dogs so pets aren’t an issue at all, they’re welcomed! I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life—especially cats—and I absolutely adore them. I have lots of experience changing a litter box, feeding pets, taking them for walks, playing with them, etc. Also certified in CPR!

Would definitely recommend Linsey! She was very professional, and my daughter liked her a lot

Pema 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Long Island City, NY

Hi, I am Pema! I have been working with children ages 4-11 for the past three summers at Tree Frog Treks, a science and nature focused summer camp in San Francisco. In my role as Naturalist, I led groups of children in full days of exploring, productive play, and hands-on inquiry-based learning about science and nature in Golden Gate Park and throughout the city. I recently earned my Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University with high honors in Dance and Environmental Studies and I am excited for the opportunity to continue my passion for working with kids beyond the summer season. I am passionate about the environment and love engaging with kids outside. I also love anything creative, with a background in visual arts and musical theater, in addition to dance.

Pema was punctual, friendly and a great sport playing with my toddler.

Jacqueline 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Long Island City, NY

Hello, my name is Jacqueline (but I usually go by my nickname Tula), I’m 23 and a recent graduate of Wellesley College. I have over 8 years of babysitting experience in NYC, as well as some in the Boston area, watching children from three months to thirteen years old. I have three younger siblings and have spent much of my time at home watching them. I’m very familiar with babies and younger kids, especially babysitting multiple children at a time. I’ve taken an online Red Cross babysitting and first aid certification course as well as first aid programs through Boy Scouts that I completed to earn Eagle Scout. Thank you for your consideration!

Jacqueline was wonderful with our toddler son. She played and read to him and entertained him for several hours. She is extremely patient and sweet with kids!
